Yeah I do think there are some things that caught everyone off guard aside from injuries. Biggest disappointment has to be Lincoln Co. Of course it don't matter how you are playin except during tournament time. 2nd biggest surprize is Lawrence Co's play. Heck they might be in the hunt before it's over but I think bench depth will hurt them. 3rd biggest surprize is that there is no surprize left for now. Could be soon! I'm stayin with Shelbyville and Columbia at the top in what order I think it depends on who plays who when and the most important time to win is the last time you play (if you follow me). But I can't even wager 3-7 Lincoln Co may well be a 6 now and Tullahoma 7 but roll the dice for 3-4-5. I know if Giles Co beat Lincoln Co (and they did) that if that train don't get turned around fast bout all they can do is play spoiler. (I don't see Leesa Jeffries name much in the box scores she may be hurt and that might explain part of their problem). Coffee Co. (yes red lady the system) could get on a roll and be a 3 along with the other 2 but that is why you lace them up.

Yeah I got a theory.... the other side of the Mississippii....the ballgames scores don't run that high so you stall til the 4th quarter then see if you can give it away. Also on the other side of the Mississippii the ball rotates in the opposite direction so that may make a difference too. Red Lady will know for sure

I think reality is that Lawrence Co. is alot better than some people will give credit to because of the thunder clouds within the program. I don't know alot of (nor do I want to) what the problems they've had or continue to have are but I know the players and they can play if allowed to. I'm happy for them and I think they may not be strong enough to win the district but are strong enough that on any given night, they could help determine who does. They are a good bunch of girls and deserve some good things. As far as Coffee Co goes.... I guess the "system" is still under construction.

Big Mac.... Sounds like you are complaining you drove from M'boro and was disappointed... From your post it sounds like your team won... Wasup with that! Shootmore... you are dead on the season is young and so are the Ladies. I don't think Janay was treated that poorly and I also think she stepped up and made a non issue out of it. Our student section was no harder on her than say Tyler Smith last year. You come into the Lion's Den as a player of the year like she is and you should expect some razzing. All in all it was a great game and amosphere. Shelbyville deserves credit for coming in and getting a win. And they were supposed to win. The guy from the Tennessean didn't even expect to see such a good game he was there more for the boy's game to watch Shelbyvilles guards. The Lady Lions will continue to improve and we'll look forward to the end of Jan.

red lady: Hypothetical....If you were playing the Lady Vols Saturday night instead of Riverdale would there still be too much inside play for the gals from Knoxville? and do you think you guys would use that stall ball?

Limerock here back atcha. put the smoke down in the ashtray and back away. Woo didn't dominate she had her normal points and our post only played 2 minutes and 20 seconds of the 1st half. Woo did nothing in the second half and we domminated the 4th with no one fouling out. You weren't there and won't be there Friday at our place so you really don't have a horse in the race. Don't think for a minute you can compare the level of intensity last night early to what both sides will have on the court Friday night. You are right Woo is not Armstrong and no one saw what we can do either early.

Alot riding on the game.. Columbia has already avenged 2 of their 3 losses from last year. 3rd one would be a win Friday night. Big return for transfer Armstrong. If you can't get up for this one you can't get up at all. I thought the "system" was in place. You didn't lead the entire game..just the first 3 quarters. You are right Columbia is far from the team they were last year. They are much better from a chemistry standpoint. Lampley is out and by the end of they year ...oh well we'll see. Any way you are totally bogus on the Spread Delay (what book did that come out of?) you were behind.... Nobody stalls or Spread Delays when they are behind (especially with no ball handlers) Let's see, how many points off turnovers with less than 3 minutes to go for the Lady Lions ..... can you say 8. C'mon coach... and yes the answer to Woo was exactly what we did with smaller girls...take it to her and get her in foul trouble. and Oh by the way... if you want to see destroyed... miss your garanteed win Friday night with Tullahoma and come to the Lion's Den.
