Well Springfield put up a pretty good showing against siegel friday 8/25...I'm actually a starter on both offense and defense for shs and i have to say that's the best game we've had in a long time. We play hard from the first play untill the very last play. I think if We (shs) can keep up the hard work then i think we can take Mt. Juliet. Not taking anything away from the Bears they had a good team last yr and the addition of Portlands coach from last yr which he is a good coach they could have only improved since but i think that with the hard work we (shs) have been putting in that we will win. Tell me what you think.

YEAH i was at the game, and if u call telling a team how to pitch players on the other team nice, then ur right. I personally think it is low. I sat there and watched them telling the NCS catcher what to throw the JBS hitters. Yet they say they were there to support JBS.

No my friend u are wrong. Yall cannot finish higher then CA. Cuz if yall beat them then yall do tie, but the rule says u look at the next highest team and how the two teams competed against them. So if yall win then yall tie, but u look at how yall did against JBS(the next team up). Yall lost both games and CA split w/ them so therefore yall would be below them. Now if Houston Co. sweeps NCS and yall win, then yall would finish higher, but i dont think Houston co. will sweep NCS.

Personally I think that Dontay Darden should have easliy made the All-District team. He is without a doubt the best 3 point shooter in the district

the games is tonight we are having a pep rally and everything today and it ant even a home team sooo i we will be coming in hype...... springfield will also be bringing in a big crowd to the game tonight.... i dont think springfield will go all out tonight though because they are trying to stay in good shape to make a run in the playoffs bc they should be going to region easy.....but all this stuff that has been said on here will be settled tonight at the game good luck bobcats

the clinard kid is that good i played with him about 3 years he has one of the best arms i have ever seen and one of the best bats as well...... i saw him hit 2 big blasts in a row a couple years ago to make us win state in summer ball but he is a very good athlete and im sure he will be seen this year

this gives the small school a chance at going to state....it hard for school that are good for thier size and school popualtion to hang with bradley central who is great and has like 1200-1500 students...i think its a great idea

But you have to understand that I am very competitive and can not stand to loose much less one of my school teams which i'm guessing that you are the same allong with the rest of the people that have posted on this thread. Well I think that it is best to keep the JV or Freshmen teams out of this. Because We're talking about what's going to happen on Febuary 14th not what happen last night between Freshman and a few Sophomore's. My prediction is that Springfields Press defense will get to Greenbrier and Frustrate them then our big time shooters like Dontay Darden (yes related to coach Darden) and Jarrell Hilliard will take over and start draining their 3's and for Greenbrier it's going to take a lot more than your 2 big men tryin to control the game because you Bobcats forget that Not only can SHS play down low but they can all set up and shoot the Jumper Shoot or a 3 any time they need to so SHS is plenty prepared for anything that Greenbrier might throw at them. But hopefully everything will go down alright which I think it will. I think there is a misconception about SHS Students by Greenbrier people that we are all thugs and what not but that's really not the case. Our school is more diverse that any other school in the entire county so yea just food for thought. Until V-Day Good Luck Bobcats

Well mr. "COACHHARD" that's all Coach Darden is doing is coaching hard so take a little bit of your own advice. And also i wouldnt judge a coach that carries such a big stick like coach darden in tha he is the all-time assist leader at the University Of Tennessee so i would say that he pretty much know's what he is doing. And i believe that last yr we split the series between our 2 teams with greenbrier taking one at there school and shs taking the win at their place but that is last yr this is this yr so live in the moment. but to end i want to appoligize for all the animosity in all of these post it's not that crackerjack and i were tryin to be unclassy it's that we are both very very competitive but again GOOD LUCK and fortune On Valentines Day cant wait i'm sure it will be a packed house because i know shs is gonna be bringing a ton of fans so till then...

There is a difference between class and competitiveness a big difference in which most of our players are stand out students at SHS (of course that prolly means nothing to ya'll Bobkitty's i mean bobcats) All Crackerjack10 was tryin to say is that it's isnt a very smart decision to pick to play springfield on your homecoming. That isnt at all CLASSLESS that is the competitiveness coming out in a fellow athlete. O and your comment about the Bobcats gettin better with every game they play i think that you forget that 2 can play that game we also have gotten better with every game we have played so i'm not sure but i would not limit us to scoring a 100 and ya'll barely breakin 50 or 60 but miracles happen and we also dont expect to walkin and out and beat ya'll by 30 it is jus a good asumption that we have gotten better jus like ya'll have so good luck...But in all this hostility among us i would like to wish the Greenbrier Bobcats All the luck in the world...o yea about SHS having litte Class it seems that if a parent would get on here and talk about a Group of high school athletes and refer to them as "Dogs" that my friend is most classless. Yeah we are taught to spell just fine! Dont get mad just because ya'll made a mistake by picking us for ya'lls homecoming. SPRINGFIELD WINS!

Springfield has a home game against Dickson County tonight starting with the girls game at 6 o'clock. The boys game although should be a better game then their last one against DCH. They got beat by 15 the first time but i suspect just like all teams they have gotten better over time so i predict that springfield will take this one although not by much.
