  1. He wasn't in the yearbook, you could find him in or out of the stadium watching the game.
  2. Didn't go just got the text with the final. LC was up 15-6. Indy pulled to 15-13 in the 4th and kicked a last second fg for the win.
  3. Indy comes from behind and wins 16-15. Good rebound Eagles.
  4. Not only limiting their turnovers but causing turnovers. Indy has only 4 takeaways(1 int and 3 fumble recoveries) so far this year while losing 11 (give or take 1). They need to improve in this area. Good luck tonight.
  5. To think there would not be some challenges this year after graduating as many seniors and starters would be naive. Looking at the players coming up from the Freshman, JV and even from middle school, things will improve. Indy has lost at the JV and Freshman levels to Franklin every year so that is not unusual. How can this year be a litmus test? It is his 2nd year on the job. Riding Smith's wave, get real. Indy isn't the only school that people leave in the 2nd half when losing big. I take it you are not a Eubanks fan?
  6. I will ask you no more questions since you won't answer them. That's OK. I will leave the posting to the current parents/fans since I have no vested interest like some do. I hope whoever plays whatever position the best (yes everyone). I want the team to win and whatever player at whatever position gives them the best chance, I am rooting for them. Have a nice season. Good luck at Lincoln County tonight.
  7. You didn't or won't answer my question. Why does every Indy thread you post in turn into a Nick vs Alex thread? I am glad Nick played at WR and did well late in the third and 4th quarter at QB. Fortunately, I doubt the coaches of any football team listen to what is posted on these forums to determine who plays. I have never bashed Nick, in fact I have said I like him. I think Alex is better at the position, but that's my opinion. I hope Nick continues to play at WR and does well there and when he gets his chances at QB. For the last time, from me, they are not the only players on the team. I have read what CHS said and frankly, could care less what his opinion about this subject is on this Indy internal issue. In my opinion you do not care about the IHS team only one player and that is sad. Prove me wrong please. Every day I say I am not going to post on this forum, but I am weak and read and then post. Have you ever coached football? If so what level? It sure is easy after the game to say they messed this up or they should have done this.
  8. I just want to know why every Indy thread ends up Heckman vs Smith thread. I have my suspicions, but I will keep them to myself. Your childish remarks are getting extremely boring. Nick did a very good job Friday night in relief. I also liked to see him playing WR. It just seems to me that you are no more concerned about how Indy does as a team as you are seeing Nick play QB. Please tell me why that is if you want? If not, that's ok also. There are other kids on that team that deserve to be talked about, not just Heckman and Smith. My guess is that you don't care about them, just one player. Just my opinion and I have been wrong before. The same old talk gets old. Sorry for the rant.
  9. The team wins and the team loses. Football is a team sport. Look it up. The coach puts the players on the field that they think gives the team the best chance at winning. You know how I would defend both of them in the backfield? I would hit Heckman every play because Nick is not a run threat and I would make him beat me passing. I also know that saviour and guru were not directed at donathan, but to Indy coaches, however they were not meant as compliments I'm sure since you never compliment them. No matter who you directed them to, it was name calling. Practice what you preach. Look it up.
  10. Will you be in or out of the stadium watching? /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  11. I will say the same about your team and fans. The atmosphere that night was absolutely electric. Good luck to you also.
  12. If I looked back at most of your posts there is one common theme. Nick should be the QB. So since you said he beat Centennial last year, lets look at the stats. Passing 6-11-0 Td-1 Int. Pettigrew rushed for 209 with 3 TDs and Consiglio added 71 yards. The other TD was scored on a blocked punt recovered in the endzone by Rolon. My point is that the team beat Centennial, not the QB. The more you post the more I think you are only concern is that Nick isn't starting and not whether the team wins or not. If that is the case at least come out and say it. You blasted Donathan for name calling but you did the same with you savior and guru comments. Maybe your name should be nsfbfan1.
  13. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  14. They have been playing Meeker exclusively on defense at NG. Gets about half the defensive snaps. Not sure why he's not getting RB reps. It would be good to see him get some touches to see if he can run hard like he did in MS.
  15. Jeff Veres is at UTC. Grigsby left the football team at Fort Scott and is looking to transfer.
  16. Actually it is 2 Ls and 7 ints. Also how were they a hot team? They were 1-1 before Centennial. Also there is a bye this week. It will pick up next week for the Franklin game.
  17. Talk about a thread killer...lol WOW. As far as the game goes I will miss my second IHS game in a row. Good luck Eagles. Come out and play like your capable and you win 28-10. Hope it is injury-free on both sides.
  18. CHS, I know and coached Drew in football in middle school. He is a good kid and I like his family. I was in no means talking bad about him. I also think the new coaching staff will turn things around, but it is a long and tough road. Teams will have bad years, it fluctuates with the talent you get. I think the apathy that is bad is with the coaches and administration. I know for a fact that athletes coming up from middle school have moved or enrolled in other schools to keep from going to Centennial. This will take time to change and I hope it does. I have coached and know a lot of the kids there and I hated it for them not to be a part of a competitive program. The stronger Centennial gets in football makes the other teams stronger.
  19. But you just put down the principal and coach. While the game was a big gate for either school, BA was added instead of Page The thought was to player better teams to make your team better later in the season. It certainly was not because of any writing on the wall, unless that wall was in the bathroom. Larger schools are in a no win situation when they play the smaller schools. This is not a put down, but as I have mentioned previously, if the larger school wins, they were suppose to. If they get beat then the sky is falling.
  20. Dog, Since your little buddy left I have found myself agreeing with you more and more..lol. Calling another school garbage is uncalled for. I think Centennials problem is that there is a culture of losing at football. It takes time to change it and it starts in the hallways of the school. How many good football players do not come to Centennial (by choice)? How many do go to school, but choose not to get involved in football because of the past? It takes time to change those things. Hopefully they can change it. But, not this week. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  21. The same reason people are talking about Page in the IHS/Centennial thread. /bored.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":bored:" border="0" alt="bored.gif" />
  22. I think too much is being made of a preseason scrimmage. Scrimmages against smaller schools are a no win for the larger school. If you dominate, everyone says you should have. If you don't play to potential everyone says the sky is falling. It was a scrimmage. Page is a good 3A team and as shown last week they can beat a bottom tier 5A team (with talent..lol). Good luck to them the rest of the season. Now back to IHS vs Centennial. IHS is the better TEAM. They have to play, but if they play their game they will win. But, as shown in the past, if your talent doesn't perform as a team, a they can lose. GO EAGLES!
  23. Bulldog, Had to erase your manifesto there. Congrats to the Pats. I wasn't sure they could do it, but they did.
