  1. Let's see.....Scott is presently 3-2 and won't win another game which means they'll finish 3-7 (again). Considering those 3 wins are against schools that have a very impressive combined record of 1-9, I'd have to say that the answer to your question is that after 5 games Scott seems to be just like always- bottom of the barrel.
  2. Aren't we going to wait until Monday to get this started??? BTW, 3-4A rules anywhere they play.
  3. I would say something about your comment about going over to Powell to watch a game, but I'll wait until the week we play them to get that going.
  4. They (the goat fans) are just trying to find something to be upbeat about tonight (since it ain't gonna come from their football team).
  5. I wish they could play games on Thursdays and Fridays every week. It's cool to be able to go see some of the other programs.
  6. Like I said before Skin, you're not going to get anything out of the Bearden fans. The puppy dogs are scared- they know what's coming.
  7. Look here GoatFan--this is a DISCUSSION board that is not limited to discussion by only fans of a certain school. One of your goat buddies got on here and started yappin about Central being scared of Red Band and so I addressed his comment. I am not trying to "swing" (as you so eloquently put it) on anybody's success- just showing some pride in our region. (Which by the way, is head and shoulders above anything coming from Choo-Choo Town). Now, back to the topic of this discussion board. Hope you get there early and get some good seats, cause "The Show" is about to begin.
  8. Why? Was the 35-19 whippin we gave them last year on their home field not enough to show you that? You all go back to discussing your bands, ice cream, and the other things you might know about and leave the discussion of football to us here in the Knoxville area who actually know something about it
  9. And I'm glad that gas prices are dropping a little so the ride back to Chattanooga (after Rogan pulls his foot out of y'alls tail) isn't quite as painful
  10. Yeah, Yeah, and you should throw in a couple desperate cliques like "that's why they play the game" and "whoever makes the fewest mistakes wins" or whatever else people say when they can't accept the fact that they're about to get beat and there's nothing they can do about it. Just tell me one thing....how do you expect to stop Fulton's running game to get the man to man D you're wanting. And by the way, Fulton's athletes are far too superior for you guys to man up against.
  11. Daniel Boone does not deserve to be anywhere near this list. They are just not in the same league
  12. It wasn't "juvenile sarcasm"-- it's the facts. I guess ProVol was correct in his assessment of Tyner fans.
  13. Sorry bro, gotta disagree with you. At the Frosh and JV levels, games can be won by one or two superior athletes. It's a totally different thing than varsity level in Class 4-A. Most of the Halls faithful on this thread have cited lack of preparedness, lack of leadership, and lack of enthusiasm from the players.......and that comes down to coaching.
  14. Thanks for the props, ZCAR. (You could have left the barb about Maryville out though)
  15. Now now Pro.....let's not resort to name calling. Tyner fans aren't idiots.....just ignorant of the fact that they are about to take a butt whippin.
  16. Good post- But make no mistake about it- 3 of the 4 "problems" that you list are a direct result of coaching. And at this level, coaching is everything.
  17. There's one very important flaw in your argument.........how is Bearden, or for that matter you guys, going to shut down Central's run game? I guess we'll find out on Oct. 27.
  18. Sorry Skin- don't think you're gonna get any of the Bearden faithful to bite. I tried last year and nobody would talk. I guess they realize they have no chance.
  19. As far as judging a game plan--- I think 45-0 at halftime is a pretty good indicator. It doesn't take "experts" to realize that.
  20. Fulton flexes it's "muscle" by beating up on another overmatched AA school. Falcons by 30.
  21. Jock didn't get hurt---- just too nervous and shook up to play. Remember, this game last year was when he was put into the starting role the day of the game and the Falcons took a beating. I hope he can rebound and finish the season strong. I guess the question now is......who starts for the Falcons?
