Not sure- originally they were saying he would be back for the playoffs but haven't heard much lately to verify that. I sure hope he can (safely) return- he's the type of player that can decide a game like this.

McMillan probably will make the start, but if some reason he doesn't- Styles will do a good job. IMO, Styles is actually better in some situations. The defense will be struggling w/o some of those players.

Amen Bro....as much as I get on here and dog the Powell fans, I had the utmost respect for them on Friday night. Even though the game was out of reach and their team had lost, most stayed at the field and offered their support and prayers the entire time they were treating O.J. I'm sure it meant a lot to Blair's family.

If you will read back, I was responding to a previous message about Knoxville teams. That's what happens on message boards- people give their different opinions on varying subjects. BTW- you don't have a clue about who does or doesn't have a "dog in this hunt."

Well if Knoxville media is supposed to service the entire eastern part of the state, then I guess it goes back to the old saying- "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."

Using your logic (and after reading your posts, I use that term very loosely) Central played Maryville "tougher" than Powell and spanked Farragut. Powell will not beat Central or West. If they can get by Halls, then make sure your gas tank is full, cause you'll be traveling to Chatt-town for the first round.

That's because your region doesn't hold a candle to the teams from around K-town. So go ahead and finish your cupcake schedule and then be ready to start basketball the day after the 2 regions meet in the playoffs.

OOC- how is Central beating South Doyle going to help you guys? From looking at the remainder of your schedule, it seems like the game Friday (vs. Powell) will decide if you guys are in or out. Just wondering.

The best team in the state didn't score 50 on Central. I don't think they have to worry too much about it happening against SD.
