Well I guess there are no Karns fans that think they have a prayer- especially with their coach out. I do want to give props to A-E for scheduling larger (4A and 5A) schools. I think Fulton would be given a lot more credit if they would do the same.

Since Maryville is the only team, except McCallie, to beat us in the regular season since 2001, they're going to stay on our minds. Hopefully this is the year that it changes, but I guess we've been saying that for a while now. Either way, this year should be another great game. See you on the 29th- and again in November I'd imagine.

Keeping Powell to 21 points this year is no big deal. And yes, our prayers to the Harrell family also.

Powell will have to wait until South Doyle before they score 28 points. McCallie by a lot.

Much improved over last year, but Fulton's bread & butter is still running the ball. This game last year was when he got thrown into the starting position the day of the game. Will be interesting to see just how much he's grown in one year.

Why don't you try reading a little more and flapping your lips a little less. We did not contradict ourselves and we did not say that Maryville will go undefeated. All we said was that your statement of "The Rebels play no competition till state semi's" was ignorant since they play in the toughest Region in 4A ball. We also said that Maryville has the POTENTIAL to win it all again- not that they definitely would. If you truly are what your screen name says, then you would understand the difference.

Oh there's plenty of competition they'll be facing. They have the potential of going undefeated again, but I assure you, this Region is NO cakewalk

Well I'm not from OR and I'll tell you that you need not be on this website if you're gonna cry every time somebody says something negative. The topic of this thread is people's opinion of Clinton football and looking at their history and even their last game- it's obvious there's not a whole lot positive to say. Nobody said anything "cruel" about any kids- just that the program has and continues to struggle. From what I've seen that has nothing to do with the kids and more to do with the coaching and obviously the fan support.

McCallie is Division II and Fulton is AAA. Even if Alcoa loses both of those games, all they have to do is get by CAK and then beat up on a few outmatched AA schools. Rankin shouldn't have any problem doing that with the talent he has.

Just like a Powell fan to come onto a Central/Halls thread and start talking about money- since they don't have any football to talk about.
