steeple really is its own beast. its pretty unique in its deceptively hard nature. i dont like comparing times on other courses...but everyone doesnt run steeple enough to get a good feel for whose got what. how does everyone Jesse Owens compares to steeple. as there will be 3 good a/aa teams running there this weekend

thats a great question.. mentally i wasnt prepared for the race. i left my shorts at home and i was worried all the way to the line if i was going to have to run naked. i didnt even get my warmup in. then when i got out on the track i had nothing, fell behind and couldnt ever get back up there. it was pretty hot too i dont think i had run in those conditions the whole year. im not trying to make excuses im just saying i didnt prepare well or run to the best of my ability.

i meant CC state and the 2 mile at the state track meet.

wow its not like ive never had someone bash me for my two bad races at state last year

the will be a memorial service held the night before state in nashville to commemerate matthew. a candle light vigil will take place on the course at dusk. i hope some of u will get out there and show u care

there is no real difference. vaughns has more hills but steeplechase is just mentally harder. i run much better at vg but many people on my team run better at steeple. and im almost confident mlk, dl, and fra will not be running any varsity runners tomorrow

what does it matter, there are gonna be a bunch more teams in there than just those 5

i dont quite know why everyone judges the difficulty of a course by its hills. please give a hilly course and ill take it over the devil field steeplechase every time.
