Sun is out and 80° in jasper. Field will be in great shape for friday.
Yep and with the playoff type atmosphere this will be an amazing night of football for the area teams. Weather around 72-75 at kickoff, and dry, with a slight breeze. Y’all’s backs should have an equally amount of stat stuffing chances. Speaking of backs, did Pickett get the ball much last game? I don’t remember hearing his name.

Very good point also.Ive seen Meigs they are a very good team and yes they have done nothing to lose the top spot as of now.I just dont know if them or Marion have enough??
IMHO, Marion will beat you with their speed. If you stop that, it will be a long night for the Warriors. They’ve got a good freshman group so even if they don’t make state, they aren’t dropping off any time soon. Just never know though

Yep they didn’t use him like they should have just like we didn’t use a lot of players over the years we should have.

He’s a great kid. He’s definitely been in the weight room. Look at those arms and calves. I hope he has a chance to go to the next level. He is just a Junior still?? Wow, plenty of time to add to the record books. Nice article.

Should I be shocked at the result? I mean, other than a scoop and score we beat the Lions in the Jamboree.

Yes dickson is at West Point. He is doing good and still there
Good to know. We have so many kids get offers to go, get there, then cry homesick or it’s too hard. I love seeing young men stick it out even if not a lot of playing time. Good luck to him.

Congrats to a well deserved coach.

We here every year next year we will be down since 2014, it just doesn’t happen ! Someone said earlier we wouldn’t have three gold balls without the Ganaway, they are studs but only played last year ! Before them was Dickson ,Vaughn,Wilkins and Ball to name a few !!! Line will be senior loaded next year and we will have the key reciever with several others ! People can say what they want but about any small school would kill to make the runs That Peabody and Lake county have for awhile now ! Heck as much as I love to pick on Huntingdung throw them in as well !
Speaking of these two, how are they doing at the next level. Was it Dickson that went to Army?

Ouch you guys are harsh in here. Gotta love county rivals. From the outside looking in, I see Mckenzie by at least 2 scores.

Before I even read the comments here I was thinking in my head that Coalfield would be the favorite here. Even more since it’s @ Coalfield. This might just be THE game of the week in the East.

I think a big thing we had going is that even though we were 0-3 we have played hard and moved the ball in every game, but, we had played three games. We cleaned up a lot of the mistakes we had been making and pair that with the fact that in this crazy COVID affected season Copper Basin hadn’t played a game since Week 1 and it tipped it in our favor. It was back and forth all night until we separated late in the game our final score was with under 2 minutes to go
CB 6 SC 0
SC 8 CB 6
CB 12 SC 8
SC 15 CB 12
Halftime
CB 20 SC 15 (at end of 3rd)
SC 21 CB 20
SC 27 CB 20
SC 34 CB 20 Final
Ah I gotcha. Thanks.

This might just be a close game, for a quarter at least. Good luck to both teams.

From Mikes wife this morning:
Mike slept 8 hours on the vaportherm and non rebreather with no problems !!! He even talked himself back from mini panic attack before bedtime and was able to do it by hisself with no extra meds or going on bypap. They have now cut the oxygen from 100% to 90% and he is still maintaining his levels. God is so good and his healing Mikes mind and body ! I am so happy he was finally able to rest . Please pray that with this good nights rest he will be able to work hard today and make more progress.
we serve an awesome god!!
Thanks for the updates TC. I’ve been down myself and not able to post them.

This game should be a mercy rule, but it will be closer due to lack of game playing with Covid. My wife’s little cousin is a senior WR for NJ so I will be cheering for him to have a good game. He’s been having a great season including “player of the week” down in Alabama. I am confident our DB’s will keep him in check. Can anyone tell me how many underclassman we play on defense?

Offense playing better now. Defense has played pretty well all game.
I wasn’t able to make it, too sick. How did we do individually?
-
I was kinda shocked by this game. I would have thought basin prevailed. What was the difference maker @TheCommander?
-
Faye has a swagger about them. You guys are big, strong, and fast. You don’t rush things, you just execute as needed. That says a lot about your coaching staff. You should roll in this one. Nothing fancy, just take care of business. Good luck.

Half of our players not getting to the school until 15 min before kickoff didn't help either.
What happened? Bus get lost? Either way this sounded like a great game before the injuries to Bledsoe. If Jasper plays at full capacity they will give Meigs a close game too that will go either way. Is that game at Jasper or at Meigs? Good luck to both teams. Btw the standing over and taunting is always unacceptable, but I assure you at the time of the play the kid doesn’t realize the down player is hurt. It is just heat of the moment most of the time. Nevertheless, still unacceptable. Get healthy Bledsoe, you will do fine in post season. This region is a tough one.

I hope the teams conditioning is on par with what it was at the Jamboree and Dunlap. Chris Jones did an outstanding job in that regard. The need to keep it going.
Yeah that conditioning went a long ways in the SC game. I hope a lot of that coaching style remains.

Nah, Mike, our middle school isn't that good but they do have some talent
Always been Jasper to my generation. Being called that my life by me and everyone around me makes it hard to change lol. I don’t say it to offend, it’s just in my vocabulary.
FME MIKE MOLDER PRAYERS IMMEDIATELY!

This news traveled extremely fast.
Oh my Heavenly Father! We don’t always understand your purpose, and even then it doesn’t make losing someone any easier. I just pray for comfort for his family and all those who knew him. There’s not too many folks you meet that when you see them you already start smiling. He just had that feel-good aura about him. Lee Teat @FridayMainEvent I am so sorry for the loss. I know you were as close to Mike as any of us. Love ya brother! It’s a sad day for sure…sad day.
