When does the 7AAA district tournament start?

I know there are still some games to play... Cookeville and siegel this thursday. (I'm pretty sure i know how that one is going to go) But does anyone know the standings as of now?

it will be a great game to watch. It always is when these 2 teams meet..

mjuhb, do you know where i can find what all teams will be attending the ccs tournament this year? I know all of the teams in our bracket, but i can't find the other brackets posted anywhere...

Darn .. it stinks that there season is over now ... thanks to Tullahoma

WOW .. first of all why did you get bigheaded and lose last year? You shouldnt have gone into the Tullahoma region semis bigheaded beacuse tullahoma had already beaten you previosly that year. 2nd, i know you say that you shouldnt get big headed going into saturday, but it sounds like the way that you are talkin that you kinna already are. You pretty much already do think that you have that state champs ring on your finger. Well, got news for you.. you better bring it against ooltewah cuz they arent gunna be a pushover game.. and if you win that your young team better keep bringin it cuz i know this is the first time that you have made it this far. your in sectionals now and no game is going to be an easy win for you. i agree yall are a good team and you have a lot of talent .. i say you will probably get as far as state semis if you play good.. but when you play oak ridge you will struggle... sorry but they have a good team. But i give you props for beating tullahoma .. thats what the reast of the teams are gunna be like so you better come with it ... thats all i have to say.

that was not trashtalking, just stating my opinion. True, the shelbyville team that siegel played was def. not the same team that played tullahoma. And Siegel probably had there best game that night. I know that we, the tullahoma girls will be ready for this one. Well just see what happens tommorrow night.

well i have def. been right on the money about these match ups. Now, im saying that tullahoma is going to take over siegel. it will be a very low scoring game and a very physical game. But if Tullahoma wants to win, every girl on that field has got to give 100% and play with their heARTS. same for siegel. Can't wait for this game, it should be an excellent game.

Well, i have to say that i think this game is going to be a Shelbyville win. I have not been impressed with the way that Siegel has been playing lately and if that carries on into tuesdays game i think that Shelbyville will have this one in the bag. close game though .. maybe 2 to 1

Molly Delk is the injured player for cookeville. Yes she was good but i don't think that her loss will affect the outcome ... her reserve is also very strong. The outside mids on cookeville are strong.

The cards are definitley in Tullahomas favor for this game. They have home feild advantage, they don't have to travel, they are coming off a big win against shelbyville so all these girls are ready to keep on going. They know how important this game is, it is in fact an eliminator. Cookeville is happy to have a second chance. This isn't going to be the same game as it was at the CCS tournament. They want to beat Tullahoma since they got a 4-0 beating the last time the two teams faced eachother. It probably won't be a pushover game for Tullahoma but i still think that the Lady Cats will dominate and move on to the Region championships.

Cookeville and Tullahoma ...both teams will be ready to play. Tullahoma should win, it would definetley be a huge upset if Cookeville wins.. but they did upset Bearden. But if the Tullahoma offense is on like they were the last time they played cookeville then this game will be a blow out by Tullahoma no doubt.

True, cookeville didn't look very impressive against siegel. I watched the game Cokeville vs. Blackman and Cookeville dominated the entire game and won 5 to 1. So i say that cookeville wins it again and plays siegel. I know that Shelbyville beat Tullahoma last time but i personally think that it won't happen again this time. It was a wake up call for Tullahoma and all i can say is that they are gunna bring it so Shelbyville better be ready and not so cocky. It will be a very physical game, lets hope that the refs are to do there job. Yes, it is Tullahomas time of year. Post season is when Tullahoma seems to excel no matter who they play. hopefully we will see this team in the final 4 again this year for the 7th year in a row.

My prediction is that Cookeville and Siegel will compete for the district 7 title. Tullahoma and Shelbyville will play for the district 8 title. I think that Siegel and Tullahoma will be the winners in these match ups. Then Cookeville will go to Tullahoma for regions and Shelbyville will travel to Siegel. These are both elimination games. Again the winners will be Siegel and Tullahoma. Then these 2 teams will play eachother which is sure to be a very good match up. Not quite sure as to who will take it. Siegel is sure to want to get revenge at Tullahoma from last years elimination game. What does everyone else think?

Maybe not the best in the state but Katherine Baltz from Tullahoma is doing an excellent job this year. Still just a Junior.

Tullahoma Lady Wildcats .. very hot right now. Playing very well together and the younger girls are stepping it up and playing to full potential. Watched CCS tournament and was very impressive. Notre Dame game Tullahoma was a little weak in the first half but picked it up in the second and dominated the rest of the game which unfortunatly ended in a Notre Dame win in a shoot out (3-1). Played Cookeville (Region rival) and dominated entire game winning 4-0. Scoring twice in the first twice in the first 15 minutes. The girls were very tired by the time the 3rd game came, played TN High and won 4-0. Could have won by a lot more, had a lot of shots on frame and kept TN high to just 4 shots on goal but Tullahoma still played a great game. The defense played awesome as usual, letting opponents score NONE through the enitre tournament. These girls are good. looking forward to state, sure they will be there and they have a great shot of winning it this year.
