dont complain about it - have guts and join the association to ref and see what kind of stress you indure when you make a call that is not agreed with. officials and coaches are underpaid but they only do their job to the best of their ability. give them a break

first of all, im the least person you would think to defend middleton. but adamsville did not look good at all and middleton did not throw their ace, it was probably 2 or 3. nobody is bashing adamsville so calm down. yes it was a preseason game and coaches are trying things differently so it doesnt mean a whole lot. if it was your 8th scrimmage in 3 days, sounds like your coach over scheduled and thats no excuse. anyone can win preseason and season but what it all comes down to is the tournament. who is the better team at the end? thats what matters. as far as having a bad game, everyone does so dont take it personal wolford. play the game and enjoy it because you might not get to one day.

i agree. the middleton coach has done a good job with that program and you guys do deserve respect. good luck in the future. as for adamsville, i foresee coach lambert having the guys ready to play this season. dont count a'ville out.

i saw the adamsville game and chester county. your pitcher was throwing smoke and the breaking ball was falling off the table. i also saw the game yesterday and ive never seen this kid pitch before. he walked 4 batters in the first inning. thats hard for any team to come back from. i have seen alot of improvement from you guys last year. good luck. what about other pitchers? have you got any more that are as good as the one that pitched against adamsville?

ok, now you have treaded on toes you know nothing about. how do you know im not a head coach or if im not but i do know alot about football. i may not know much about middleton's football program, but that for several years it has struggled. accepting a payout is telling the kids, " hey guys we are going to got to milan to play to get our tails kicked and i hope you wont get hurt but im going to get !500 for our program that we can pay for officials and bus travel with. what good will it do the kids. thats what im asking. im not running down anyone from middleton or milan. im just saying if you are a new coach, why sell your kids out for a payday. thats not sending the correct message. so dont get all high and mighty on me buddy. im just stating opinion. and a fact is that everyone knows why milan wanted to play middleton and im almost positive that milan didnt call jcs or germantown or melrose to play. wonder why not?

if coaches are so worried about injuries---- why play non-region games, why play jamborees, why even practice in pads ----thats no excuse. i agree that they may look on the field and across the sidelines and see milans 80 players and say "yeah we will sure learn something from this game --- our coach is an idiot."

ok, that doesnt make much sense. he is not about embarrasing struggling programs but yet it is made public that he pays $1500 to get that extra win for the playoffs. this is greed. milan and crockett should have played on saturday just like everyone else. but milan is not to blame, middleton's coach is stupid enough to accept the offer to get what little players they have hurt. i thought wins were important to a struggling program, or am i wrong. the money will come later. football takes care of itself as long as you give yourself a chance to win but thats not the case in this matchup
