I agree that we should have beaten HL last year in that game, but HL was a very good team last year. They went on to defeat Whites Creek and than went onto the state tournament. If we played them 10 times last year, we would have split with them. To compare the scenario with HL this year with last year certainly is a contrast. Them beating us last year was not an upset, them beating us Saturday night will be an upset.

Let's have a quick REALITY lesson. This is not the same Hunters lane team that beat us last year and not the same Antioch team that CHS beat last year. You can't go on history. you've got to go on what teams are right now. When it comes to coaching. I am sure Coach Kelly is a good coach, nothing like Coach Johnson. To continue to get players to step up game after game, different players every game, is remarkable. He has taught that team basketball is much more important than just having on aspect of the game. CHS is a post dominant offense, whereas FHS has balance. That is coaching baby.

Hey Alon, or whatever. Your hat should already be going off to Coach Johnson for what he has already done this season. They lost the majority of there points to graduation and this was to be a rebuilding year for the squad. They were picked by the "experts" to finish well behind Indy and Hillsboro (what time do those teams play tonite and this weekend?) He is by far the best Coach in the mid-state as well as probably the state. Just watch his teams run their offense and play pressure defense, you may learn something from Jay.

Wrong again CHS 2007. The game where CHS defeated FHS was not the champioship game. It was the consolation game. Franklin than went on and defeated #1 seed Stratford and Centennial got beat by Maplewood. WOW. Get the facts right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like one of the coaches in the meeting said "how can a team go 16-0 and have such few votes for MVP". Glover is the true MVP. When he is not on the floor, the Rebs at times struggle. When he is in foul trouble in the first half they struggle, when he comes back in the second half things are a lot different. FHS gets penalized for having such a great team concept (like Duke). In a game during the district tournament, 9 players scored and 5 were in double digits with another player with 8.

You are a complete idiot to put Coach Johnson in that "low downL class.IF you actually knew Jay, you ouldn't say that. He is the classiest coach out there. Ask fellow coaches, officials, former players, and parents, they will tell you. Just keep you mouth shut about a guy who any parent would love to have their kid play for.

CHS 2007, you have done such a great job all year of picking games. Have you picked any right yet. I believe you picked Hillsboro to beat FHS by 5 last time and we went out and laid a 30 point defeat on them. Keep up the good work. I loved how the "who's your daddy" cheer back fired on the Centennial faithful the other night against Ravenwood. Yeah, I'll tell you why. Its called GREED. They are afraid the gate will be too small, words from the Principal's mouth. So instead we want these STUDENT/Athletes playing 3 games in 4 days the week of the district tournament. Way to go Brentwood Administration, its all for the kids right. You just can't look at scoring average. You have to look at the total all around game. Derek BATT is the man for the award, but you know what, we'll take another District Championship, which is more important than any individual award.

Coach Johnson is the only choice. I believe most "experts" had the Rebels fnishing third in the district. After losing quite a bit of scoring, we didn't know where the points were going to come from. they have 5 guys averaging between 9 and 13 points a game. Coach has done a great job bringing this group of kids along.
