  1. You mean they don't keep up with that? By the way...mama's long gone.
  2. Won't happen. I would guess that part of the reason he took the FRHS job was so he could retire from the state and "double-dip".
  3. Touchy, touchy. Hey...who's the all-time winningest freshmen boys basketball coach in Metro history?
  4. You know...when a person "goes off" about something (the way you always do about being a freshmen coach) it's usually because that person is trying to convince himself that what he is saying is true. I never said Rees Groce couldn't coach. You know why? Because I have no idea who he is. You know why? Because he was obviously a lifelong frosh coach. By the way, I didn't know you had left HHS. Where has your illustrious freshman career taken you now?
  5. When, exactly, were the years when FRHS dominated year in and year out. There have definately been some great teams, but I don't recall them dominating over long periods of time. Seems like they have always been up and down throughout the years.
  6. ...which, I'm sure, was one of the reasons he was looking in the first place. I don't know the ins and outs of Murfreesboro schools, but I suspect that he saw the handwriting on the wall as far as zoning is concerned.
  7. Lifelong freshmen basketball coach smack talk is a little better, probably.
  8. Touche. Slip of the fingers. However, if you are capable of speaking correctly, why would speak like an idiot on purpose? Oh...you left your ' out of didn't and posters'.
  9. I don't know how good PC is going to be in football, but if this guy is any indication, there English department is going through a down time. You need to stay off of here and go study.
  10. Those were good ones. They had some pretty good ones when shadow was there, too.
  11. Yeah...it was brilliantly put. The NBA stills stinks.
  12. No... I'm pretending to be an old retired guy. I haven't pretended to be a teacher in several years. I believe Gooch was at OHS in the late 80's or very early 90's. RTB...good calls on the Hillsboro and Antioch staffs.
  13. Well...you took the 70's...I'll take the 80's McGavock - w/ Elrod Overton - w/ Coutras and Mullican (which carried over to the early 90's)
  14. No...I believe it was competition...read what he wrote..."I have met or observed in completion..."...what the ____ would that mean?
  15. The real question here is...who really cares if the NBA ever plays another game or not. The great thing about pro seasons being so long is that we can go straight from baseball to football without ever having to waste a second of our lives on the NBA. It's going down the tubes and I say "good riddance". College b-ball...thumbs up...NBA...flushing it would only corrupt the sewage system.
  16. You said the rest are lucky to have a staff from that teaches at the school. Again, I agree that Ron has a very good staff, but you implied that the rest are not. What difference does it make where they teach? Do you learn a lot of football teaching at the same school? I can't say I ever became a better coach during the school day. And, by the way, it's competition not competion.
  17. I agree that HHS has a great staff. I think RA would tell you that is a major key to their success over the last several years but, on what, exactly, do you base the rest of this statement? Have you met every coaching staff in Metro?
  18. Rumor I'm hearing is that he's bringing a coach with him who is black. Shadow you should know him. The staff as of now is Woodward, Peden, Bush and I think the others name is Kipkey...and the one he's bringing in.
  19. It sounds like you might be talking marriage.
  20. He has what colleges look for...he's fast...they'll find something for him to do.
  21. From what I've seen, McAdoo can barely dunk. Shouldn't you be doing your grammar lessons?
  22. Since you have extra time in the afternoon now, you should really spend it working on your spelling.
  23. Nobody was bashing McPhail's son. Apparently he is a decent ball player. My question is this...why does he have to go to Ryan in order for his kid to go there. It has nothing to do with the betterment of his family. I think he did it because with him at the helm, the wheels were about to completely fall of the AHS wagon.
