It was Puleo's call...but I would have saved Garland (10-0 heading into Wednesday) for the elimination game instead of playing him in a game that wasn't do-or-die on Wednesday. The Thursday date didn't have much of an outcome on the game...Science Hill just played and executed small ball really well and WB fell into a hole that they couldn't dig out of.

Still too early to call...but we may be heading to the Hill I'm good for now...just give me a final /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

William Blount falls to SD 5-2... Will travel to the winner of Science Hill vs. DB on Friday

Halls was missing a few players due to baseball and other events, but the Govs looked very strong. The final score was 41-6, but William Blount put up 21 in the first quarter alone and held Halls scoreless until the very late stages of the game. The offense preformed very well, Darren Garner made some huge plays and really had some breakout runs. I believe there was over 500 yards of total offense for the Govs, but don't hold me to that number. All in all, both teams looked good and played well. I am still looking for an update on the injured quarterback from Halls, and my prayers along with everyone at WB are with him. We are looking very strong so far, and if we continue to keep up the good, hard work and continue to improve throughout this summer and into the fall, you should see some good football!

How did the spring go for the Region teams?

The teams left in Region 2 are William Blount @ Halls Oak Ridge @ South Doyle Anyone have predictions, game times, comments? I think it will be WB and South Doyle winning their games and advancing to the finals, with WB coming out on top

Thanks for the help! I'll have to mess around with it sometime next week and see what I can do For now...I think I'll stick with the Jeff Gordon Scrimmage against Halls tomorrow, May 11th... 6:30 @ WB Everyone come and support the Govs!!

Which school are you from? It looks like you should take a good, long look in the mirror before bashing anyone else...the way I see it, the classless people are the ones taking shots at other schools and fans for no reason
