  1. the post is deleted, but not for you. who are you? it looks like we know each other - you could use a little slap. I also invite you to put up your picture and name - humor me
  2. Hey Gang....heads up, the DL is about to drop some huge info on you! The DL's back from reporting all over the world and is glad to get back to east TN football. Seasons Greetings, The DL has the DL (and that's down low my friends /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> )_
  3. agreed comrads, the other thread got filled with bologni. Here, we can concentrate on the upcoming events at hand. First off, I congrats to both teams (MHS vs. Maplewood) for making it this far. It is an honor. And nobody is safe ever during a game...that is why they are played. If the coaches or players at MHS begin to believe in their own hype, they will fall. However, I strongly doubt this will happen. But we do know when many of their own fans predicted that they would lose to Red Bank....we saw what it did to the players. Could the reverse hype have the same effect, which would result in MHS losing? Just a thought. Secondly, I found some interesting facts about coach Quarles. After a co-worker of mine interviewed him for the State Championship Special, the man behind 59 straight victories proves to have some interesting techniques to staying grounded. Coach Quarles said that Yoga and Pilates (after hours) really helps clear his mind. He said, "The pilates keeps my abs in check while the yoga allows me to become one with my thoughts and my body. I didn't expect I'd say that, but for the last several years, it's really helped me." When Quarles was asked about the yoga giving him some kind of ESP for football as a joke, Quarles snickered and said that although "it's a silly idea, but I do feel as if I can see the field better and predict what the defense will do during most Friday nights." p.s. You can read this article and more which will be on sale in Murfeesboro at the games! Travel safe all The DL

  5. Ya know Papa, that's about the smartest thing you've said all day. Cool stats. The DL
  6. Thank you Matback, it's good when someone finally understands. DL
  7. Okay ladies and gents....the DL has a message to the posters on this message board....unless you can raise your comments to the DL's level, please do not post. It's tough being very successful and knowledgable sometimes, but the DL gets labeled as 'that smart kid, teacher's pet' from class. Yes, the DL is an over-achiever, no doubt about it. Do many people have the DL's knowledge? No. Please use me as a resource rather than hate the top dog so to speak. I hate to be so blunt, but that's the DL my friends. /motorbike.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":motorbike:" border="0" alt="motorbike.gif" /> The DL has the DL (and that's Down Low my friends)!!!!!!! /motorbike.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":motorbike:" border="0" alt="motorbike.gif" />
  8. Judging by your typing and thought process, I'd say you're mid fifties?! The DL loves old thought. Perhaps you would like to go to a game with the DL......I could really commentate what's going on to those who don't understand much beyond guys.....make pads go hit. Just joking, but seriously, I might feature an article about an older gentleman learning the basics of football. /motorbike.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":motorbike:" border="0" alt="motorbike.gif" />
