  1. We lost last year on a failed 2pt conversion in OT, this may FINALLY be the year we take one @ Tullahoma. We need to avoid giving up any huge plays early. Control the pace, control the clock, and control field position. I'm excited, as always, for this one!
  2. Getting ready to head out. Here's to another regional win for FCHS
  3. Thank you. I liked the stats/facts but not the unnecessary negativity in between. With that said, you guys have one heck of a football team. Although I know very little of 4a, I can't imagine there being many teams better than Greenville when they play to their best. Best of luck for the rest of the season. We'll be glad to get back home and start picking up more yardage and clouds of dust.
  4. FCHS winners tonight, took over in the 2nd half. First 2-0 start since 2004, the same year we started 6-0 and had a Top 10 state ranking. I don't see a repeat performance of 2004, but it's nice to get a few early.
  5. Nice win for FCHS tonight, first 2-0 start since 2004. Best of luck to Lebanon heading forward.
  6. I admit to knowing nada about Lebanon or their football program outside of new stadium and their result Friday night. With that said, FC has a similiar problem. Subpar seasons since we started 6-0 in 2004. I see more Athletes in the stands than on the field. We have about 35-40.
  7. I won't be able to make the drive, but will def have the radio dialed in for kickoff. Congrats on the new stadium!
  8. It's hard to argue against trying to give Huntland a call in this situation, maybe split the gate? Would be the 2nd biggest turnout of the year. Scheduling the initial game was a joke, replacing with Lancaster wasn't much better.
  9. Jeff Hall and Phil Fulmer alma mater victorious over Reggie White's. FC was lothargic late, but played well in a game they were expected to win.
  10. FC just scored to go up 21-0, 11:52 remaining. FC has dominated on defense and have dictated pace and field position on offense
  11. I'll post to do my best to represent my Rebels. I am genuinely excited for this game, and think it will be closer than the last few years. The obvious keys seem to be: THS passing vs. FC defense FC run game vs. THS front 7 (or front 9) and I think the wildcard will be how long can FCHS keep it close. They need to use their offense to keep the THS QB off the field, and get a push upfront. FCHS per their system, and their mentality, are a good front running team. If THS can get an early lead, and show offensive balance, this one will not be close. Here's to a good game, great weather, and the best result for the Rebels. I hope Coach Carr and that sideline will show some intensity and get fired up. If we see the usual timidness, we will get hit in the mouth and roll over. Safe travel to everyone, and have a great evening! Go Rebels!
  12. I chose riverdale, 25 till kickoff, good number already. Makes a rebel fan very envious
  13. Fchs is on a huge road trip, so a virtual bye week for me. Which game would be better to watch? Oakland vs Blackmon with big state recruit Or Siegel vs riverdale with undefeated records and state rankings?
  14. Now 12-0 Lebanon. Rebels are playing flag football and are obviously trying to tackle a reggie bush clone...
  15. After the first quarter fchs trails 6-0 after gating gashed on Lebanon's opening drive
  16. They don't teach tackling or encourage a little tenacity here in Winchester!
  17. It is opening night in Winchester, football is back! Here's to good weather and a good turnout. Anyone else attending?
  18. The FCHS offense looked good against Howard, and they played good football for most of the game. The one glaring weakness is our tackling. We had a few spectators on plays throughout the night. We need all 11 guys to wrap up and be willing to make some big hits/plays.
  19. FCHS hosts Lebanon in thier home opener in Winchester after beating Howard 42-30. Who you got??
  20. Fchs fumbles one 3 straight possessions to damper a successful opening night against the Howard tigers. 42-30 final score.
  21. My apologies for the excessive updates. Fchs imposes their will on a 7 play scoring drive, finished by a 12 yard rushing td by Colton nunley, his second of the night. Junto the dive was a facemask penalty against an imploding Howard team on a 3rd down play. 35-14 7:30 remaining **two plays later, junior mike linebacker Jared byrum intercepts and returns to the tiger 4 yard line. 42-14 lead now after sophomore runner (#6) scores for fchs 6/39 remaining. Nachos now half price!!!
  22. The tigers make it 28-14 after 3 straight passing plays to finish off a quick scoring drive. 8:51 left in the game. Fchs probably hasnt practiced against the pass much this summer .... Too close for comfort in Chattanooga for the rebels. They need to take the game and the clock on this drive
  23. Fchs runner Layton wells scores his 2nd td ifthe night on a huge 63 yard run. The offensive like of fc woke up on the play.. 28-6 fchs with 10:44 remaining in regulation
