Losing Tait was a huge blow to the Irish. I think they are still trying to fill his shoes. A hard thing to do.

Rutledge seems to have found the passing game this year. Something I don't remember them showing years past in the stat column in the paper on Saturday mornings. Should be a great game. I do give Carter the edge they seem to be more comfortable with the passing game than Rutledge. I may be wrong but I think the competition that the two teams have played will show up in the 3rd quarter Friday night. It could be the last home game at Rutledge if they lose so the atmosphere will be much great than any other game. It will also decide the Region Championship along with a first round home game.

Tait was a huge loss for KC, but they are still a great football team. Catholic will win this game by 21.

Always a great game. With several starters banged up, looks like this good get out of hand. Key athletes will have to step it up for the Canes to have a chance.

I don't think Carter's Defense has played a team with a more balanced offense like that of East. We have several great ball carriers. With the Ramsey's arm and Penlands and Osgoods athletic ability, the passing game is hard to handle. The lack of opponents that Carter has faced will prove they are not up to the standards they have been built up to be. We also play at home. East wins in an offensive showcase.
