We may want to save some, our dear friends beside us may have some to swallow as well. I am really bothered by Maryvilles loss but it is nice to have one record called our own. I am not sure how much talking was done on the Maryville thread, but Hillsboro may serve it up. All streaks must end, and one day our streak of Gold balls will, but it wasn't this year.

The majority of Maryville faithful have class. I can think of very few that do not. I'm not sure that Hank is a member of the faithful.

Well, I was dead on with my score prediction of 14 points. Although it felt like more than 14 points. I liked the idea behind the 3rd down quick kick, it just didn't work. Sam boomed punts and played solid D. The most impressive guy on Alcoas D tonight was #16. He was everywhere playing like a senior should. Milan was simply not on Alcoas level, but they did impress me. A good D and I think them and Marion of CAK could play a good game, with Milan winning the majority of the times. Good job Milan, you played hard. Avery was a monster, what did you all think of #2 the Sophomore.

The time is almost here. The Thesis is turned in for the semester, my classes are through. Friend on his way from Johnson City to ride and watch Alcoa do there thing and headed to BOH in about 30 minutes. I cannot wait for tonight and tomorrow. I can't believe it is almost that time. I plan to go by BOH around 11:30 with some guys from the college and then head towards the Boro. I really hope it is a good game, and I think it will be but part of me is starting to think Alcoa will click and do better than I am thinking. I'm still saying Alcoa by 14 though.

I feel that depth and coaching plus big game experience in state, as well as tough opponents gives Alcoa the edge in a tough game.

If he is who I think he is (almost 100% sure), he is one of the strongest pound for pound, even though he is a Freshman, and has natural ability. Just undersized. I coached him in wrestling, and he had natural balance you couldn't teach and good strength for a kid weighing around 100lbs at the time.
