  1. BUCS fans, if you can't make it to the game, remember, you can hear it LIVE on 1370 AM, ESPN radio.
  2. Let's see, your from CAK, but your screen name is "bucsfan1339" and this is you one and only post. Go do your homework and grow up.
  3. Thanks, we know there's one in every crowd. We have nothing but respect for CAK. Great school and tradition. Your fans were first class last time we were up there, so we know. Hope everyone has safe travels and the players play hard and represent their schools well. We look forward to a good hard fought game out of both schools. We pray there are no injuries on either side.
  4. I heard Tyner and Red Bank scrimmaged last night, any details? I heard Red Bank scored 5 times and Tyner didn't score. I know the Lions are tough, but I didn't think anyone could shut out Tyner.
  5. Good Luck Bledsoe!!! Get our Region the win!!
  6. GV and those kids are in our prayers.
  7. Chattanooga and Nashville areas are different. At Boyd went never charged untill a few years ago. Everyone we played was charging, so we started. Weird thing is, our Band and Chorus split that money, football doesn't see a penny of it. What # is Junior?
  8. Dude, you better worry about South Pitt for now. They will beat you guys AGAIN...let's just say by 21.
  9. Good post. Boyd has a returning kicker that is a senior this year, McCord Bowen. He's good.
  10. You might stand a chance if you bring that same home grown crew of officials you had over in the valley last year.
  11. Naw...you don't like us cause you got beat. By the way, start going to HS football games, everybody charges.
  12. WOW, I love this guy. I bleed BLUE, but I'm not that optomistic. I hope and pray that we do NOT underestimate CAK. They are well coached and have great athelets. This Joseph Bennett kid is a stud. He was Knoxvilles "tackler of the year" as a sophomore. He will be a hand full for any line to control. Their QB threw for 1800 yards last year. He has 2 receivers returning this year that started last year. They have a lot of skill players that are returning. I think their offense can hurt you in a hurry. I understand they have done very well in 7 on 7 and all their scrimmages. Don't get me wrong. I'm for the BUCS all day long, but CAK is a VERY GOOD team. We looked good against a few teams we've scrimmaged so far, but I think CAK will be better than any team we've seen this so far. BOTTOM LINE. WORK HARD THIS WEEK GUYS!!!!
  13. I would love to see twinkle toes in uniform one more time. Hope he's there, we'd love to see him. Oh, and you to
  14. Yes, wish we would have done that this time. The Pirates are always ready to play anyone, anywhere and anytime. That is why your program is respected. Others could learn from that.
  15. I think you nailed it Zonepirate. The parents worked hard to get the field in good shape, got concession stand ready, bathrooms clean. One of our parents even went and bought a truck load of poweraid to give Silverdale to keep on their sideline during the game. (We sure didn't want them to get hot) We went to a LOT of trouble to host them. Classless on the coach from Silverdale to call late at night the night before the scrimmage and cancel. Oh well. BUCS practiced tonight and scrimmaged each other. I'm sure we got more good out of that than playing them anyway.
  16. Good to see you back on here 37421. I hope to see you tomorrow night also. Bring your son with you, the team always likes to see one of their hero's. I sure would like to see him in Blue one more time.
  17. That's pretty much exactly what happened. You got a pretty good source reaction. I'll see you Friday night.
  18. ...and I remember the older days when EVERYONE beat Boyd 55-0. And I don't miss them either.
  19. I don't think so. The following Friday will be the jamboree. Look me up Friday if you come.
