NO NO my friend, you have it wrong. Those are the two private schools NONE of us can compete with. You see, you can live anywhere and pay them tuition and go to school there. I think they have the lowest tuition in the state, it's like $250 or so. Most other private schools charge $5-10,000. Marion County is a very good football team. They are better now than when we played earlier in the year. We are too. But before I'd talk about annhilation, I'd remember that they beat Tyner, we did not. They just beat Smith County. Any team that beats Smith County and Tyner better have our respect. Some of our fans might overlook them. I pray our players do not. I know our coaching staff won't. This will be a war!!!

Agreed, but I'd rather leave the field honorably for the last time. It really makes you thankful for our coaches and the respect they teach to our kids.

It was even reported by 2 TV news crews, so yeah, pretty sure. Believe me when I say that we were shocked by several things last night....the score was not one of them though. I didn't see them take anyone out for it. Actions speak loader than words.

I don't know who will win, but I believe your players and coaches are too classy to do what Westmoreland did.

Good post. MC beat Tyner, we did not. You also beat Smith County, which we know is a great program. Our earlier game was great. We know we were one play away from being third in our region instead of first. This will be a great game. Glad our region has done so well this year.

Not knowing much about Westmoreland, I thought they would be similar to Smith County. They are however nothing like Smith County. I talked to some of their fans and coaches before the game. All seemed nice. Just like Smith County. The difference in the teams is that the Coaches from SC would never have allowed their team to disrespect another school by allowing the players to stomp on the other teams logo. Bet you Westmoreland players won't do that again! I was also surprised that there were 2 chop blocks called on Westmorelands O line. Could have been 20 flags thrown for that. You couldn't block #63 Cole Webster so you tried to hurt him. Also the last two playes of the game when we were taking a knee to run out the clock, you guys had to dive across our line to take cheap shots on our 3rd string QB. You'd have thought it was a goal line stand in the super bowl. Your # 61 was ejected from the game and raised his hands going off the field after getting tossed and got an ovation from the crowd, and your coaches didn't say anything to him. WOW! You guys are a class act.

All of them WARS. It brought out the best in both teams. Nothing but love and RESPECT for Smith County.

Can't keep quiet on this one. Boyd won the AF Bridges award for sportsmanship this year, so we don't throw too many cheap shots. The play your refering to probably should have had a flag thrown against our player. He was coming at an angle and couldn't see if your player caught the ball. It's called football. So he hit him. Our DB is a good kid. By the way, we've never seen those officials. But yes, they could have thrown a flag on that on. The neighbor your referring to cusses our kids, parents, etc. Your bus driver went to the wrong gate. There is a sign that clearly says DEAD END. Sorry for the mix up, but only so much we can do. Maybe we should come pick you up and drive you to the front gate. It's funny that we've had a thousand teams come to our school and not a one of them has tried to enter the school through that gate except you.

Yeah, MC is the benchmark for smack talk around here. They have a really improved team this year. It should be a good game between them and Smith County. Most of the BUC fans like a little more serious analysis of the teams than is currently being posted.

Thanks and good luck to MC. Congrats to Westmoreland on defeating Tyner. You definately have our attention. I don't think our two schools have ever played each other. We've had a couple of run ins with Smith County. They have a great program and tradition and I'm sure your cut out of the same mold. I haven't kept up with DCA. I looked at their schedule and they are 3-7. However, when you look at ALL their games they have just barely lost most of them. This will be a much closer game than their record would indicate. They only lost by 3 to Westmooreland and by 14 to Goodpasture.

Congrats to the Rams. It was Boyd's sloppiest game this year. We are getting ready for the playoffs and we won't get very far if we play like we did Friday. Great gameplan by our coaches. Very, very poor execution by some (not all) of the players.

No. Jordan has been out all year with the exception of one or two games. He has some back problems. He would have been a huge asset to our offence and defense this year. He is by far the strongest player we have.

No doubt, the RAMS are a great team. They are the benchmark for 2A in this area. You are always well coached and you always have the best athelets. I know, if you ask our coaches and players, they would tell you that they have ONLY RESPECT for Tyner's program. Year in and year out YOU are the team to beat. I don't think anyone would argue against that. With all that said I know the Rams will come to Boyd's field with a chip on their shoulder. We have NEVER played them an easy game (for us). We all know you can score from anywhere on the field at any time, and that your defense is always stout. The BUCS are a special team this year. If we play every play to the best of our ability for 4 quarters, this will be our year. I pray that both teams are injury free, before and after the game. The past couple of years, we beat each other up so badly, it was hard for either of us to go very deep in the playoffs. This will be a GREAT game played by two Great teams. Will you be ther BNL?

SC defense did a great job at shutting down the run. The Bucs bread and butter has always been the ground game. Running the ball was very difficult all night. I think Coach Reynolds did what he had to do to move the ball which was throw it. We threw more last night than all the previous games we've played this year. SC's defense really left us no choice. Bottom line, good job SC on the defensive side of the ball AND good job adjusting to coach Reynolds.
