Actually your diploma matters; especially when it comes down to graduating from an accredited high school (McCallie) or a non-accredited one (Temple). Also, the students you mentioned are being recruited by prominent schools for sports, not because they are good students or because Temple is a good school.
Seth is not going to McCallie because he will be looked at more frequently as a potential college athlete. If he went, it would be because he would have much better opportunities, and he would not be hindered by many elements surrounding Tennessee Temple.
Also, for anyone to question Seth's ability on the court is absurd. Having grown up and playing many sports with this guy, I recognize that he brings so many intangibles, as well as ability, to his teams. It is ignorant fans, like many on here, that don't recognize this. Many have tunnel vision, and miss a few important aspects of the game. Dan Wadley does not play his children because they are his children. They play and played because they had ability.
