  1. Hey guys help me out here please. Are the tickets prices for the sub state game at Culleoka and elsewhere $6.00 or $7.00?
  2. Please don't take the comment of someone to be representative of Eagleville's team. I know for a fact that none of the players post on here and most don't even read it either. We used to play Culleoka as we were in your District. Those were great games and we have great respect for your program and for Demario also. Eagleville is looking forward to a tough game against a great team. You guys have earned your home game by beating everyone so far. Let's all look forward to an injury free sub-state game.
  3. It was a defensive "war" with neither team giving an inch. Both teams played their hearts out. Just another classic game between Forrest and Eagleville.
  4. Careful guys, District 10 is very strong. I am pulling for our guys along with you but let's remember last year. White House Heritage and Nashville Christian are very good basketball teams. Not to mention East Robertson.
  5. Yeah, I was told by a coach who is hosting one of them.
  6. The higher seed in each matchup of the first games gets to host that game at their gym like a home game instead of all games being at the District location is how it was explained to me.
  7. Michael Alldaffer (Eagleville) Bethel College
  8. Remember that all the preseason talk was just that. Most of the people that post on here aren't involved with the development of the teams, so we're just giving our opinions and expressing our loyalty to each of our teams. As for the summer camp scrimmages I wouldn't take too much out of those for how the teams do during the school year. I've seen several teams who played well this summer who are struggling so far and others who's year didn't look too promising who are playing excellent ball. Moore Co. would be a perfect example of that.
  9. Great win Rockets! Well once again it's working it's way up to the big games featuring Forrest vs. Eagleville. I think this rivalry has taken the place of the Moore Co./Eagleville rivalry that was so great for so many years! With the re-alignment of the Districts, these are the two teams that seem to end up deciding the championship. Good luck to all and maybe we can both go deep in the region this year.
  10. There was no one left on the bench to put in! Everyone played and starters played only 1st period and 3rd period. Eagleville is deep in talent and there isn't much drop off through 10 or 12 players.
  11. Actually Community is one of the toughest places to play for Eagleville! I've been watching us play there since '99 and no matter how good we are each year, the Vikings always play us tough. Last year we won by an average of 29.5 per game for the two games, but it always took us a while to pull away. This was only our third game this year and we played poorly with lots of turnovers but give the Vikings credit for playing well. Especially being underclassmen and all. I heard several "oldtimers" compliment your coach and how well he's brought along the program. As for the referees, just read other Districts posts and there seems to be an effort by the refs to call fouls in bunches! I know I've seen more this year than recent memory. But the outcome of the game was never dictated by them. Anyway you Viking fans are gonna surprise some folks so keep playing hard and good luck.
  12. I've been hearing this from several people. I don't know if the TSSAA had meetings and told the officials to tighten up the calls or what, but I've never seen so many charging calls than I have this year also.
  13. Eagleville has only got to play one game so far this year as the Friendship Christian game was postponed until some time in Dec. because they're still playing football. Coach Reed used the first game to substitute almost every player we have looking for his rotation. So it's still too early to say. We've had scrimmage games where we look even better than last year, and then we'll have a game where we don't look very good, turning the ball over alot and not playing together. Aaron, Jimbo, and Zach all look good we'll just have to see who completes the starting 5 and the rest. I noticed that Forrest and Cascade are playing a lot of bigger schools and have been losing. Hope that plan works to make them better for their sake. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and lets all support 9A to go deep into the Region this year!
  14. Both teams employed a half court style offense similar to the Forrest/Eagleville game last year that was low scoring. Good first win for Eagleville. Coach Reed substituted a lot looking for the combination he'll be happy with. Alldaffer was leading scorer with 11 points after sitting out most of the first half with 2 fouls. Foul count was very high with more charges called than I can remember in a long time. First game for the refs too huh!?
