  1. Anyone know where Mike Shockley is coaching these days? Havent heard anything.
  2. Wneely, why do you insist on getting on here and running that mouth??? Get over it, you weren't good enough to even make the girls team down there, so you sit in the stands and cheer with the rest of the team that didnt make it. And when you see Cheathams girls on top of the region again, yes, we will just point and laugh from our side of the stands. PEACE!!!
  3. Thats nice Josh. Real man to say that. Which part made you mad the most? When Cheatham beat sycamore girls for the well... Let me ask this. Have Sycamore girls even beat Cheatham??? Not to my recollection. So think before you speak. Besides on the recruting aspect of your statement. Sycamore doesn't have enough talent for Coach Carr to waste his time on. In Sycamores existence as a high school, how have your girls done? Might get lucky and make it to region...maybe. The only trophies in that school are boys basketball, football, and volleyball. So before you embarass yourself a thumb nymore, don't say stupid things like that. thumb
  4. When is the old AC school gonna be ready for action again? Or shall we continue our Sunday night escapades at one of the high schools? With side goals, and Sunday ball expanding that would be the better decision. Is there going to be another adult league uprising soon? Is Ron Jeremy going to come take over the gym as usual? I'm out PEACE!!!
  5. I have only one prediction- If you win this tournament and you aren't Gallatin- you will not be invited back! Good Luck to the Cheatham County Cubs and Lady Cubs in the Smyrna tournament!
  6. Great win for the Cubs. With Noel out for the night, Cheathams boys stepped up and got the job done. They all shared the ball, rebounded, and played very well on the defensive end. As I have said before in a previous post, the supporting cast for the Cubs can get it done. Can't wait for the Waverly game, i think Cheatham will come to play, and will do it big, they do every year aginst Waverly. Look for that one to be a close one, but the Cubs will still pull it out.
  7. The whole hype thing around noel.... there is a reason for it. he is a good basketball player. he has improved on defense over the past three years, and makes much better decisions with the basketball than the past. He has become a more all around player, and there is no denying that. As far as his supporting cast goes, they know what they have to do to get the job done, and they do it. Sycamore is a selfish team, as stated before in the boards, and that will soon pass as they figure out what is keeping them from winning games. Now when it is tournament time, Sycamore steps it up a notch, that is fact, but, this year should be different for Cheatham. Why cant we all just be happy that a team in our county is a representative. And however the outcome may be in the future for tournaments, I'm sure the other team will be there in the stands cheering for the other. Good luck to both teams in the rest of the season...
  8. HLfan68... Well, let's talk here. Are you mad because Cheatham dominated you last night, or because you almost got dunked on. So what, he missed get over it. I have one question for you. How did we look in state playoffs?? Good from the sideline? Oh, and if Sycamore does turn around, its going to be to see the scoreboard lit up again with Cheatham on top. Get used to the losers bracket baby. Sycamore will live and die by the three this year. No size inside, maybe some of you all-star hotshot football players should put on a basketball jersey, so we can see how it's done. Or the sidelines just home sweet home for you? just like football???
  9. Size matters, but only in certain places in life. I recall a 6'10'' player from Hume-Fogg that had maybe 7 points all night, and went home with another loss. Noel had 24 that game.
  10. Dansby doesn't seem to be very loved by Harpeth or this message board! I know the Tants...they played football and both of them got full scholarships to Vanderbilt. I think Jason graduated this year and Matthew is a junior getting a good bit of playing time.
  11. Sorry for the typo! Glad to know that you never make them!
  12. Harpeth won indeed. One exciting game to watch though. Dansby had a nasty dunk in OT to basically seal the game. The momentum from that did it for the War Eagles. Logan and Randy seemed to be the only two who wanted it last night. Other players were strong as well, Tinch played well, and also Josh R. To many mismatches on Dansby for Sycamore to pull away victorious. Pierce had a great night on Dansby, he didnt know what to do with him. He couldnt contain him. Good Luck to all teams come tournament time. -One Life-One Love-
  13. Seriously- where is Logan Pierce going to college?
  14. Hands down to the both of you. Once again, I never said I didnt agree. Maybe I should have started a new thread. Sorry. Now the three of us know that, but, this Pickel player must be something special to be on top of this poll. I agree Noel is the most pure shooter I've seen since I've known the game of basketball. -One Life-One Love-
  15. Thats what Im thinking as well. The cubs in the postseason should be exciting to watch. Im looking forward to it. I frimly believe that it has a lot to do with them coaching staff of Cheatham. Major credit to them as well. Often they are overlooked. The same players are there, Bowers the only exception, that were there two years ago when they went 1-27. So, keep up the excellent job at Cheatham, players, coaches, and others involved in the program. -One Life-One Love-
