Good Win young tribe players...maybe coach sutherland should be the varisty play caller?

can someone please explain why and how you can change the date and time of a game 3 days before kickoff? There are some people that actually might come to this one since it is in Cleveland and have planned to attend the friday night game at 7:30. But it appears the two schools have decided to play on thursday at 7, if they are going to switch things around how about considering the average fan and make this announcement a couple of weeks ahead where people can arrange their schedules. It makes me wonder who is in charge at mcminn the athletic director or the football coach, i guess neither one. And i am sure that somebody at bradley had something to do with this mess.

I am saying that mcminn from what i hear does have some good tallent coming up but when you go 3-7 and possibly 2-8 or 3-7 those young players might get discouraged and decide to rome the hallways instead of the football field. You can say that it is a down turn in tallent or it is bad luck but somebody needs to change something because it is not working.

This was a embarrasing loss for mcminn and for the second week in a row the special teams play was horrible and the overall effort was horrible. Whoever is in charge at mcminn needs to take a long hard look at the direction this football program is going in and either make some changes or settle for losing seasons. And dont give me the excuse that mcminn has some good young players coming up and that the team will be better next year becuase the players dont want to play for teams that lose. Where are you Tribefan? Lets see you explain this one

please watch your language on here 27ALLGO there are kids that read this stupid stuff. So what about Heritage are they any good seems like there score are about the same as ours againist the same teams that we have played.

27ALLGO you must be a coach to defend the poor performance by the special teams like you have done it your last comment. So is our punter only 10 yds from the center because "alot of teams are getting away from the 14 yard rule" or is he coached to do that and it finally caught up to us twice in one game. The team played hard as they have all year but made to many mistakes and that was the difference in this one.

The special teams play was aweful for the cherokees last night with 2 blocked punts and the punt returners not catching a punt and blont downing it on the one. Someone pointed out to me the punts got blocked because Nigel was only 10 yards deep from the line instead of 14 yds. like you are supposed to be. The team played hard and Trace pretty much carried the team. It is sad to say but it is going to be another losing season for mcminn, yes we got a lot of good young players coming up i just hope they stick around.

I like the plan for friday night hopefully it will work and we will beat blount. A friend of mine that goes to maryville told me that blount has some key players out so that should help us.

Tribefan sounds to me like you did not know coach Mullinax very well because the administration ran him off. Sure he was ready for a change, he was ready for the administration to stop giving him false information. I sure hope mcminn can beat blount but I doubt it, looks like another losing season.

amen burnt I am glad to read your post I have a interesting thought, not to jump subjects but if we lose this game Friday night againist William Blount that means the best we can do is 4-6 hopefully we can beat Heritage and Bradley. Does this mean that coach Daugherty might feal the pressure of having back to back losing seasons. My dad tells me that this has not happened since the early 80's, just before Mullinax came to McMinn. But hopefully we can win againist Blount and make it to the playoffs, that would be awesome.
