Man I can't wait for this game to start. I look foward to this game every year. Because the creekers always say the same old crap every year and then we beat the crap out of them. hahaha I would say that unakas qb will glad to get this game over with, because he is going to get beat to death. I do believe that Hampton will pull this one out. But they will have to play mistake free football. Johnson County is all about big hits and trying to cause fumbles. That is just the way they like to play. So if Hampton can just rap up and hold on to the ball and not let them knock any of them loose. Hampton will win this game. During Hamptons three year run to the semis. The two games they lost to Johnson County was due to turnovers and most of them where because of fumbles. But Hampton takes this one. Hampton will have to go to Unicoi with there A game in order to win. It doesn't matter what record we have or what Unicoi's record is. It is always a tough game. I watch a very good 07 team play at unicoi and barely escape with a overtime fieldgoal. I do believe that hampton will win this game, but they will have to play 4 hard quarters to win it. It really matter how many player the dress out. We have around 40 some players to, but only the 11 thats on the field is what really counts. I don't really think that it is any of the players being selfish at all. Lastnight was a showing of some good coaching by Ned Smith. He came in playing a 2-3 zone and run it tight which meant not many oportunities inside and making hampton to try and beat them by outside shots which they did not do. Plus they did try to give Bentley the ball, but you cant give the ball down low with two or three people right there on him, you just can't do anything with the ball if you do get it. I might be wrong, but I do believe that is was alot to do with coaching tonight with the win going to the landers. Last week cloudland didn't even attempt to run a 2-3 zone then last night came out and ran it and never had to come out of it.

I would have to agree with you that this was a great game that is always a type game that is enjoyable to watch. Hampton had the lead the entire game and could have put it away twice but Grace made some great runs on Hampton off of turnover's by Hampton. The OT was def where there wasn't any team ball being played. I think there was around four trips down the floor with no passing of the ball and some pretty bad shots taken in that span. Bentley should have def had the ball in his hands in OT with the way he played all night. That cost them the game!

Question for chill is Hancock County have anything this year? The past two years region two hasn't been up to par compared to past years.

zonepirate I will agree with you that if the kids want to work on there own they will do it no matter what any one says. I agree that kids need a break after football for a bit. I was just wondering what your opinion might be on football players coming straight out of football and into basketball. I do think that the kids need atleast a few days before going to the hardwood. Probably every basketball coach will say diffierent, but I think it would be good for the kids to just relax a for a few days.

No Grace isn't in our conference my bad. I was thinking since they where in the football conference they where in the Basketball also. No they didn't get to play tonight, because of a screw up in schedules. Avery didn't have Hampton on there schedule so they had to cancel the game from what I heard.

Just wondering what everyone thinks will happen in the region 1 1A conference. Hampton returns a loaded team with some new talent to help them along the way this year. Cloudland returns almost all of the starters they had a year ago, will be a tough team to play against. Grace Christian, been hearing alot things about this team, but don't know much about them. Unaka again this year what I have heard. North greene I have no clue? University High, lost alot of talent last year, so don't know about them either with a new coach and all? I think that is all the teams in the conference, but give opinions?

Yeah speed kills, but if you don't have good blocking then what good is speed? I see your speed crashing and burning when Hampton's line pushes yours into the backfield.

With people like you give cloudland a bad name, I many people from cloudland and good friends with alot of them. They support Hampton as we support Cloudland.
