The boys love the noise ( the crowd whines alittle - BOO HOO) so see what you guys can come up with. He was using big truck horns, fire truck etc.. Thanks to all of you for the concern. Tyler is getting there. He has strep throat now but he is still chugging along. Doctor did release him after a show down in the doctors office. (just kidding). He is not out of the woods yet. The prayers are the most important thing right now. Tyler is very strong headed. I am very proud of our Rebels !!!! They all did a great job Friday night. The key words for the Rebels right now is Prayer.. Cory going down is a HUGE hurt.. It's the kids senior year and I pray he recovers in Gods' speed. Reeder on the other hand - problem is in the process of being taken care of. He had a bad week and hopefully we are on our way out of this mess. Sometimes God has to tear us down to make us better.. Look what happend at Huntingdon last year -- tornado warnings and all kinds of bad stuff going on and we WON !!! What does not kill you only makes you stronger. 2 more weeks until the season starts. I pray all will be on the line in good health ready to rumble.. Pray for these guys in this awful heat... GO BIG RED !!! FIGHT HARD & PLAY HARD !!! see ya at Crockett Co. It's so funny how these things work.. If Liberty would have creamed the Rebels the post most likely would have read " 1A had no business trying to hang with a 4A' la la la yet when these little schools step up and actually hang tight with the "larger" teams there is always some reason why we win. Bottom, top, new spot whatever we have most of our boys going both ways and they did it. Young or not Liberty passed their boys in and out and kept them fresh. Ours took one lick right after the other and kept moving like a steam engine so who knows.. Rebels may leave alot of doubt and I am not cocky enough to put us all the way thru BUT they are to be reckoned with that is NOT a doubt.. The season is right on us and I am ready to see this bunch of kids on Friday night.. GO BIG RED !!!! FIGHT HARD & PLAY HARD !!! still have room to improve.. Only way out is up !!!

Volfan23 read some of your post.. BE CAREFUL..This team has had to re-load. Don't even want to start predicting anything with this bunch nor lay it all on one guy. ALOT is in the air so be careful and don't unpset the cart yet.. I believe in these guys as well as all REBEL fans but we have alot of work ahead of us. The first 5 games are the toughest we will face and so far most people have got our defense on the down so let's start the season rolling with one good thought "TEAM TEAM TEAM" !!! it's going to take ALL of the REBEL gang to pull this off. I hope and pray we make it all the way. I am ready for Friday nights but to be safe let's keep a steady and level head.. GO BIG RED !!!!!!

thanks so much.. He works very hard in all ways of the game. if you would have asked me 4 yrs ago if I thought Tyler had this level of heart for the game I would have laughed myself to death.. You never know with kids.. I am proud of him(of course he's mine) but we have alot to be thankful for.coach gave him a chance and he faught to keep his spot. that is why I stress so much on hard work, team effort and staying focused. I have told him from the beginning a kid is waiting in every turn in life to take your spot. Make the coach realize you want to be on that field no matter what position it is. If you hate it own it. The "lime light" does not matter it's playing the game. good luck to all.. work hard and keep in shape.... Tyler hates me sometimes because I push training on him but you can't expect to be great if you are to lazy to get off your "bootie".. I as well hope Lake Co. takes JCS.. Not to disrespect them but I feel a Huntingdon tradition coming on !!! YIKES !!! good luck to all

I imagine we will be there.. (Hopefully not as cold as last week.) as to running out of gas, hitting the wall etc.. let's us know we need to train ALOT more.. Got my bike ready, Tyler's running shoes coming in soon ha ha.. The comment to the "big head" hopefully will fix itself with time.. These are kids, we all have been there. as bad as I hated to see those boys lose it can be a HUGE reality check. coaches as well.. No one thought we would have made it this far as well as Region Champs.. It's going to take alot of hard work and there will be alot of molding going on... We shall see.. I hope Lake Co wins Friday. We will be at Henry County Friday night watching more family.. I just wish one thing for all players if the good continues to come be thankful, but when the game comes that knocks your team out may each and every player remember - character comes for the down moments in life. The Lord will not bless the boastful, He will humble the proud. Stay strong, play hard and keep your eye on the goal... til next year !!!! on to baseball for us

No one is "dissing" Drew. Drew is gone and as you said we lost to them with Drew last year.. We had a great ride but we stunk it up when we needed to pull together.. Frankly all the mess with our O Line falling short PLEASE.. That simply is not true. fact - we totally left our "drawers" hanging out last Friday. We stunk!!! all as a whole from the coaching to the quarterback.. We need to remember what a great year we had and TRY VERY HARD to take it like a man and LEARN from the mistakes we have made 2 years in a row.. Would have loved going to state. Region Champs is great but going all the way would have been icing on the cake.. ..Good luck to all.. We lost alot on that field last Friday.. Let ya in on a little inside funny - The boys are begging the coach to let them round up some guys in the area to keep "playing" their own game.. Some of the boys have heart some got the "BIG HEAD".. It will kill a team every time.. The rest of you guys play smart, be safe .. Hopefully some team from this side of the river will take the gold ball... have a great time don't look back.. FIX IT AND KEEP ON TRUCKING ...

thanks for the info.. We need all we can get. Our boys are no different than anyone else (I thought)but being in the running for a honor like that speaks volumes. It is up to them now to bring this thing on home..I hope and pray we go all the way. I am not into predicting scores and such. Only support.. you have to want it and settle for nothing less. "jaxman" as I said I should have not brought it up, this is coming from alittle more on the inside, - JCS said they would come down here and take care of buisness and move on to the rival next week, which it should be that way.If there is lack of confidence then there is a great chance a loss is headed this way. so good luck to both teams, small town or not the REBELS will be out there.. I hope our boys will come out and give it one heck of a fight.. as I have stated from the beginning..
