  1. Please stop talking about the bad calls your just making it harder for them.
  2. So your saying the only reason he is good is because he is big?
  3. Here is a list of some of the great players in East Tennessee In no particular order: Dennis Rogan -Fulton Harrison Smith -catholic Best player on offense and defense for catholic Devin Carthorn -Notre Dame Most underrated back in Tennessee in my opinion and probably the best If you get a chance to watch him play go and watch, you will be amazed, I was fortunate enough to play with him last year. Tony Taylor -East Ridge Does a lot considering the team he is on I was at the ND vs. Macon Co. game and wasn't that impressed with Dallas, ND has one of the best defenses in the state though. Maybe he just had a bad day?
  4. They are a dominating defensive team, very physical. They are quick, athletic, and very well coached. ND has an edge playong at home. Devin Carthorn is a great back, but ND plays as a team, each player compliments the other. If ND wins the turnover battle they will win easy. ND rolls 34-7
  5. ND wins 28-14. Whoever can take care of the football will win.
  6. How can anyone not put Devin Carthorne. He is one of the best runningbacks in the area.
  7. I probably will not be at the game. I am a student at UT, so I will stay in Knoxville to watch the South Carolina game. Polk is a good team, but ND will have something to prove, no one is taking them serious. ND defense is amazing and a good group of guys. Look for them to have one of their more impressive games on D. I don't think Polk has the players to stop Devin Carthorne and the rest of the offense. Goodluck to both teams. No injuries
  8. Hey, this guy knows a lot about high school football. Last year when we played Polk we won because of our speed and that will be the case this year. Polk is a really good team, but doesn't have the speed or athletes that ND has. Both teams will dominate their opponents this week. The only way I see Polk winning is if both Devin Carthorne and Chase Spurlock, the two runningbacks, get injured. ND dominates at home and beat Polk 27-7. Both teams are going to the playoffs and should get pretty far. Go Irish and good luck to Polk in the playoffs.
  9. That would be hilarious. I played for Notre Dame last year, yes I know what you are all talking about. Our announcer is also the drama teacher at the school, so that can explain for some of the dramatization. As for ND being away, I doubt it will effect their performance. And as for playing the starters too long, first of all, when ND has been up big at half the policy of Coach Wiggins is to let the starters stay in on the first series on offense and defense. Second, did any one see the ND vs. Tellico game? ND could have easily scored over a hundred points. The starters were taken out after the first full series and ND played five different quarterbacks. Even a freshmen quarterback got a chance to play! How many fifth-string quarterbacks have had the chance to play in a varsity games on other area teams, probably not many. Thirdly, Devin Carthorne had limited carries and still had a great game. I am not sure of the exact stats because I was at the game, but he seemed to run with ease. As for not having a team next year, look at the region they are in. No one has a playoff caliber team except for ND and Polk Co. For my prediction, I have not heard anything about Grundy Co this year, so ND wins 36-0. And the starters will be taken out before the fourth quarter. Oh yeah, someone said David Lipscomb is not in our region. That is correct, but what the writer meant was eventually ND might play David Lipscomb in the playoffs, who are in the same class. So do not call anyone a moron if you are not sure you know exactly what the writer is talking about. Go Irish and goodluck to any area team who makes it to the playoffs.
