  1. Oneida has got 3 things going for them. they are big, quick and good. They gave us all we wanted and more. Not a pleasant game by no means. I think that we really played bad down there, adn Oneida took advantage of it. This game will probably shocka lot in the fact that it won't be as bad as you'd firs tthink, but Oneida will win, probably 2-3 TD's.
  2. Date Opponent Details Result Fri Aug. 24 Johnson Co. W 43-24 Fri Aug. 31 at Oneida W 14-12 Fri Sep. 7 at Jellico R W 45-0 Fri Sep. 14 at Unicoi Co. W 9-6 Fri Sep. 21 Unaka R W 40-0 Fri Sep. 28 West Greene W 47-20 Fri Oct. 5 Grace Christian R W 34-14 Fri Oct. 19 Cosby R W 51-7 Fri Oct. 26 at Happy Valley W 45-20 Fri Nov. 2 at Cloudland R W 48-13 that's pretty right there. averaging 38.5 points per game while giving up 12. yeah, that's nice.
  3. Thanks deputydog, but I just call it like I see it. Cloudland is weak, and we showed it tonight. We could have made it very very bad, but due to crazy refs and coaches having respect, we didn't embarass no one. I will say that I am as surprised with Cloudlands record this year of 7-3 after last year. Congrats to the Highlanders on a good season. I just have one request, get the announcer to learn the penalties, learn the names, better yet, just read them correctly, and quit saying that everything was given to us, it all was earned. It's no Leon and sidekick Tojo. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Coalfield is next, stay focused, enjoy the undefeated season this weekend, and lets start thinking about next game.
  4. This game always causes a little nervousness, but my honest opinion is, I don't think that Cloudland can hang with Hampton this year. I know its a big game, I know its played at Cloudland, but here is my reasoning. 10 points. 10 points is what has seperated Cloudland from being undefeated in conference play and not 2-3. Yes they did come out on the winning end and that does account for something. I beleive they played their best game against Grace, and that went to overtime. Hampton's defense is too stifiling, Offense too powerful. This all spells disaster for Cloudland. Sorry sports fans, but thats how I see it. Game should be over at halftime, but then again it is Hampton vs. Cloudland.
  5. I would rather have roses sent by coaches then have pujo trying reverse psychology on our guys. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  6. yeah, huge scoreboard fell and went KABOOM!!!!!! insurance is covering it and a new one will be at the field this coming tuesday. hopefully it will go up a bit easier. bad thing though, i hear its not going to have the paint job this one had,
  7. I felt the same way about it, not fair, but they had to start somewhere. Unfortunately it was now. Road trip is always good, and its great if you win, at least that is what I hear.
  8. If Hampton gets put out in the third round, I don't beleive that it will be by Midway. Midway will struggle with 2nd round, and get to come watch third round up here in Hampton. Then if you want, we have a track around the field you can show off your speed, pretty decent weight room you can show off your strength, and as far as toughness, you can't come close. If folks are calling this the best team ever, what does that mean? Cosby had thier best team ever last year and didn't make it out of 1st round.
  9. There you go again.........you owe me $1 for the box of Kleenex I have had to replenish. VikingFan14 for President of Dads
  10. It is waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy to early to start talking about it, plus of we do I get nervous in the abdominal area. Not pleasant. I think we have to take it 1 friday at a time, starting with this Friday. It is a nice thought, but goodness lets not talk about it now.
  11. i agree with the physical aspect of Grace. They don't like to hit or be hit. But i think it will be enough for Cosby, they kinda lay down without the hit, so it should fit into Grace's style of play.
  12. 3rd round is as far as they might make it.
  13. and hopefully Hampton will be standing there waiting on the winner. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  14. thanks to coacht for getting this on the front page of CoachT. Hopefully more people will find it and be touched just as much as we have.
  15. Not too big, 6'2", 258 lbs. Wish I was this big when I played. Yeah, hold off on the stories for now, I have to get some Benadryl in me to dry me up. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  16. C'mon Pujo, I know that it is hard to pick favorites, but as I told Starman, if you have a job that picks winners, pick the winners and forget about catching crap at home. Here is how I see it: Hampton Cloudland Grace Jellico Still would like a prediction out of you on Hampton's game Friday night, no score, just who will win.
  17. ya' think?????? /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  18. Really, don't stop. We all make mistakes, daily, hourly. You can decline all you want, you are bing bullied into office, by me and the Jax. Sorry, it don't pay much money, but it sure is worth it!!!
  19. sounds like trouble in the Cosby house, and I ain't talking Heathcliff Huxtable. Don't know what is going on, but it doesn't sound good. I believe Cosby is already beat and its just Monday. Sorry Cosby, but I have seen what Grace can do, twice, and seen you all once. This will hurt for a while.
  20. Okay, I am going to have to ask that you quit posting because you make my eyes water up every time. Really, though, thanks for being a great Dad. There are alot out there that gives all of us a bad name. I am unofficially naming you President of Dads. Thanks again.
  21. God tests us and our faithfulness and Satan tempts us. While most everyone always tries to ask why or blame God for the tragedy in our life, we must always remember that things happen for a reason, good or bad.Everyone that konws the bible or has ever been in church, knows about Joseph being sold into slavery by his brothers due to their jealousy. Joseph never held a grudge or ask why, but told his brothers later in life that God had allowed that to save his family from the famine that had taken place. Remember, everything, I mean everything happens for a reason. It is our responsibility to figure out how to make good out of bad. Do not allow Satan to tempt us into questioning God's authority and decision making. Hey, its easy to sit here and write this, living it is the hard part. Sorry to get all Sunday school on everyone, but this post has meant a lot to me and have thought alot about it since I read it.
  22. As the proverbial saying goes, any team can get beat any given Friday (or Thursday) night. Anyone who has watched Hampton play this year will agree, they started out as a team that was bipolar. we have watched 2 teams play this year and fortunatley for us, most of the bad team was at the beginning of the year. They have hit stride, know their jobs and what they are playing for. This will be typical Hampton/Cloudland. Big hype, close at first, maybe through the first half, but I think/hope that Hampton can pull away.
  23. Have some time on your hands????? /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
