Mo$$$$ Says them OWLS best represent Smith County well tonight. Them seniors better realize it aint a pretty sight to be on their knees in tears at the end of 4 quarters. Best hit em quick to insure it dont turn out that way. There is a lot of tradition on the line tonight for both Smith County teams. I hope they both pull it off.

The event will be at Cookeville Regional. I go back Monday to find out what time. But I figure Monday night or Tue am. I have already done all the warm ups for it. Yeah the laser has improved this procedure. After care is shortened dramatically. Say they have you up and walking in 24 hrs. Home in 7 days. The good thing is I had pains but no attack. I am about in the same mode as when we stepped off the plane over there. Nervous but not worried. Just something you got to do. I will always be a Tiger fan. I am pulling for them to win. However, it all depends if GV shows up to play an entire game. The fire is missing. Dont seem like it matters to majority of the players. To win you must have the fire, or heart as its commonly known. This is not the worse team GV has ever fielded. I have chatted with a former GV player in his early 30s. He said they only won 2 games one year. I watched his game films. It was pretty much what you are seeing now from this team. A few wanted it and the rest was just there. I attribute it to no leadership. You could tell from the first couple of games there was none. I hoped they would gain some but, it hasnt happened yet. They have play makers. But its a team effort. Playing 5 man football is not going to get it. If they made a rule no girls wearing jerseys, I ponder how many would remain next year. I know I am grasping for straws trying to determine why they have no fire, or care to show any pride in their team. I imagine the coach is pondering the same thing. Dang this looks like a slam to GV. But its hard to watch a Tiger team just give games away. I hope the entire team reads this and decides its time to prove me wrong. I know they miss him. He also misses them.If he had started school a year later than he did he could have played this year. He was 17 when he graduated. He is sidelined for his freshman year. He didnt go to Campbellville as anticipated. He went to TTU late ( last days remaining) instead. I am not so sure talking with him if he will pursue football. He dont care much for the schedule the players have. He is still working out and running. Just in case he decides to go for it next year. I assume. When they go to College, you dont hear much from them. They are to busy making new friends and being accepted in the FRAT. I think the FRAT was a mistake, but he is on his own now. His decision.

I was correct in my suspicions they took this years performance record. That list wont hold water for next season. May start that way. But as usual its just a base to go by.

Then you agree with where Alcoa went. I think thats what was being reflected. Much the same situation if you stop and think about it. SC still has to deal with Alcoa. GV with SP. So its much the same. GV lost WT,FC, MJC and TC. Left with RBS, MHS,& Clay. Hopefully they will schedule in some quality 1A schools to play. If there is any left Without traveling for 3 hours.. On another note. Whats your thoughts on the SC/GV games continuing? Will it still happen?

Yeah, I forgot about the bad blood for the past two years. Or more. TC will make every effort to run up as many as possible on FC. I dont see the second team smelling the ball in this game. So you TC second stringers best get in street clothes. Jump in the bleachers and lead the cheering section. FC is in for a kicking surprise.
