I think it is not our business to discuss...he is a kid.. and made a bad decision.. which I am sure most of us in our lifetime have also made bad decisions.. But more than likely our bad decisions was not openly discussed in a public forum.. I can also guarantee we all wish we could go back in time.. and undo that particular decision.

Well all I know is that certain person camped out at the board of education this year... and it proved to be very productive.. Although we have one less teacher.. With a few of us coming together we can probably get what we want accomplished.

It is quite embarrassing for the scoreboard not to work... I am all for a combined comunity effort to get the scoreboard working, whether be a group discussion with the new principal, coke or the school board. We have 3 weeks before the next home game to get this done.. More than likely we will be hosting many playoff games from visitors west of Knoxville. So the Carter County Board of Education should show some kind of pride and help resolve this issue as well as show a vested interest in the appearance of one of their National Blue Ribbon winning schools.So I challenge all Carter Countians to 1. I would have to second that.. Hampton has gotten past their last 2 years nemesis... the Johnson County Longhorns.... and are really wanting to experience that elusive undefeated season

fumble resulted into I believe td for the longhorns.. and the interception resulted in a 47 yard field goal... Prudohomme .. might be spelled in correctly.. has one heck of a leg

First 10 plays... 7 runs and 3 passes... 1 of runs were a fumble... 1 one run was a TD... 2 of the passes were incomplete..and 1 was intercepted...thrown into double coverage.. not a good decision... but typical first game

Besides some first game jitters... and too many fumbles.. the runs were averaging about 10 yards a carry.. they still need some work on the passing game.. couple of bad decisions with the passing..and Mike is not Vick.. he needs to just keep running straight and not try any razzle dazzle.. although he is at a dog fight every week

No Crow for me...just had O'Charley's.. FC has a good football team.. they are not last year's Trousdale though.. but that was another year.... Hampton could have won this game.. but did not execute the clutch plays....We will be back next year... just as tough... and will have no fear of any Region 4 opponent..Good luck to FC in the finals.... nothing is better than a all private final... pro teams prove year in and year out... picking up those great players.. provides championships

I always see on here when a team loses they had their worst night... really.. hardly ever does anyone say.. we was not prepared... we underestimated our opponent... we played the best we could and got beat.. we were not the same caliber as our opponent.... unfortunately there are do overs,, there are no instant replay reversals... that is why in order to win you MUST play every down.. your best..and sometimes better than your best.. and what we all must remember... these are kids... for the most part.. do you remember being 16,17 and 18.. looking back today seems like we have all learned so much.... boys of Hampton and Friendship Christian..... HAVE FUN... enjoy it.. is is just a game.. you will do many things in your life... more than likely with alot less stress... that will have a more meaniful impact on your life than this game.. it is the smallest of things that can change your life.... I believe that statement you just made to be totally false... same result would require TC to be playing us next week but if I am correct.. they are doing suicides on some hardwood as we speak..

I would like to hear from a Coalfield person... was we close to having the largest visitor turnout there in Coalfield.... and how loud were we..it is really hard to tell from the same side... I am sorry tnsddeveloper.. you must be mistaking me for someone else on this thread.. that was my first post on this particular thread.. I never said anything about neither team being more rural than the other.. How far one lives from a city has no bearing on their ability to play football. Granted there maybe a more abundant pool of more athletic young men...but the mental drive and pure determination of an individual has no rural or urban boundaries.

We don't have alot here in Hampton.. a very small percentage of the population could afford to send their children to a private school... not to say that if most of these parents had the means they would as well.. but what we do have is what the good Lord gives us a beautiful place to live.. wonderful mountains.. one of the cleanest lakes in America.. and some darn good trout streams.. Most of our boys are raised in the church and have not been spared the rod.. They have been taught you have to work hard in life to get what you want... and be thankful for what you have... and prayers are answered... as for football they go hard.. they hit hard... they run hard.. and they try harder than anyone else out there on the field.. Yes we all know.... We could have many shut out games this year..and let me say this ...I am in no way saying you guys should have not scored... but many games this year ...it is like JC almost let them score.. that is just the kind of coach he is.. I think until actual teams play us they might think we are weak and anyone can score on us.... the reason I asked about the plays that changed the game... I think the punt snap over Brandon's head.. was the momentum changing play.. that seemed really to effect Coalfield's young men..
