Frazier or not Bradford has won 7 in a row vs. Gleason! If Gleason doesn't look to score more than usual then the advantage is to Bradford. In the past that was not true but this year Bradford can't outscore people and Wallsmith is the only true scorer. Gleason should try to increase their pace of play and be more physical since that is another Bradford weakness along with scoring. I think Bradford wins a close one. Both sides are hungry and will be a hard fought game.

True but sometimes things just don't happen in sports like people think. However I believe Bradford was probably considered a big underdog to Clarkrange and Jackson Co. Really Middleton as well. But they did represent West Tn well.

Just appreciated what he had done but I felt Coach Paschall had not received much credit. I hope the red devils do well. Nothing against Eddings. I appreciated all Coach Paschall did and think he did not get enough credit for it. Just a fan will miss him as a coach.

why does everyone think Larry Eddings is going to make a big difference for Bradford? It's not like the guy that was their didn't rebuild their program. 53 wins the past 2 years and a state semi-final appearance plus sub-state this year. Maybe they should have one but lots of good teams have not won the state championship. Eddings may be a good coach and did well at Bethel but did very little while at GC made the sectionals one year. I don't believe he won a championship at the high school level. I wish Bradford the best but don't forget what Paschall was able to build for him. He brought those girls along since 6th grade or before. Good luck to everyone this year.

How can u say South Gibson has a good coach she has never coached a game! Just because u were a good player doesn't make u a good coach. Also Jackilann Street will likely not only be one of the best players in this area in the future but this year. I'm sorry but head to head Molly Wallsmith is the player I would want on my team over TT, Swain, or Haynes. But only time will tell and right now all this is opinion and everyone has one.

I think fussell hands down should have been player of the year the award is not player of the year on the best team. I think patterson and stevenson would have been good choices also but can't argue about mcmillan.

2 things are official.....Jasmine Morgan is moving and Shane Paschall will be the new Principal at Bradford High School.

From what i have heard is that morgan's family is contemplating moving to jackson for job reasons. that is not a fact just yet. the bratton girl is playing however. the cunningham girl that came in off the bench is not playing.

Please hampton is why the program went to shambles!

All this talent you guys are talking about was developed by him. He was the reason these girls got better. When you get to the state level anyhting can happen. The technical u mention also sparked a 17-0 run by bradford to go ahead so that point is meaningless!! As usual he we will get no respect or credit for what happened.

Word around town is that Head girls coach Shane Paschall resigned as coach on friday. This is a tough loss for this program. He rebuilt the once great power in his 5 season as head coach. He was a great coach and leader for these young ladies. Good luck to him, he will be missed.

Call their coach and ask him if she started in the 8th grade if u don't believe me beacuse she did. If you remember her freshman year how bad they struggled to start the season without her a point when she had a broken hand a didnt play until christmas. Just because your opinion is different doesnt make it right. I would take wallsmith all day. Not saying TT isnt good because she is a great talent but u guys are also blowing her up way too much. Like i said previously let her career happen before you crown her.

No one has transferred that must be a rumor. Molly never has gotten enough credit for what she does. Oliver was very one dimensional in my opinion. mrbigster, the mvp of district is for the entire year not just the tournament, that is what the region tournament mvp and team is just for play during the tournament. look at the stats and you will see tt only outplayed wallsmith maybe once at lake county. i personally think tt gets way too much hype. let her career unfold before we compare. wallsmith has earnerd her acknowledgements. she has started since she was in the 8th grade and has been a foundation for bradfords success. she has scored over 1000 points in her career and still going.

First off Molly Wallsmith was Bradfords best player. She lead them in all categories but rebounding. And TT was not District 14A MVP, Molly was!! Every time they webt head to head molly got the best of TT.

Wasn't comparing the coaches. Frazier has accomplished alot. But what most people seemed to forget when two teams play both having coaches that know what they are doing then the players are gonna decide that game. thats all i was saying. but like i said earlier we will see saturday. anything can happen.

Not from Bradford but i do follow them some. Why would Bradford be nervous? They have beaten Gleason by 9, 11, & 13. Who cares who their coach is he doesn't get to play. The players will decide this game. It's not like Bradford's coach doesn't know what he is doing. It only took him 3 years to turn Bradford's program back around. I guess we will see on Feb. 28 who is right. I like that everyone keeps counting bradford out. they just keep winning and taking care of business. by the way it is Gleason probably not wanting to play Bradford not the other way around.

if you are referring to the dresden/bradford 1st round game, i was there and there was no controversy or anything crazy that happened. unless you are gonna say what u heard happened don't bring it up.

Erica Oliver is an incredible scorer and rebounder in the post. she is only 5'9" and a hefty girl but is very light on her feet.

Everyone always talks of upsets in this district tournament but there hasn't been a major one since Bradford upset Greenfield (7 seed beat the 2 seed at home) 2 years ago. The top 4 move on this year to Trenton. This may be a good semi-final and final but the real games are next weekend when these 4 will probably face each other in the region semis when the loser goes home!!

you gotta love how a team goes 17-1 and is ranked 5th in the state is not the most feared team in this district. The last 2 years they have gotten no respect. But they just keep winning.......Time will only tell about this year though.
