  1. im going to assume this is referring to me.... I have never tried to fill my posts with inaccurate stats or tried to belittle JC's coaching ability, such as someone i know???? /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" ...As already been stated, this matchup has two of the best coaches in the state. All i do is state my predictions and back up the team i support. Just as I have already said, JC is a talented team (always is) but CR is probably the best high school girls team i have ever seen. Each and every one of their starters could start anywhere and there are no particular standouts among the main five. If one person is double teamed, the person left open is usually just as much of a threat. However, im not saying that beating CR is impossible; any team can be beat. Just hope they don't take JC for granted. that being said. good luck to both teams tomorrow night! better get there early cause it'll be packed. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  2. well lets see here midtennsportsmoron....the only reason Clarkrange isn't playing higher ranked teams is because noone would play them this year. I know for a fact that several teams deliberately dropped them off this year because they knew what to expect. Why would a AAA team want to play a single A team like CR that is expected to do so well? They would have nothing to gain either way. If they win, they were expected to and if they were to lose, it goes as a huge upset. ....lose lose situation for the AAA team.......Congrats to JC...They did win state last year and they obviously deserved it knocking off CR 5 times but I think the tables may turn this year....Either way, good luck to both teams!!
  3. I can't believe there isn't already one started on this game but it's coming up this Friday. What's the predictions on this one? I'm thinkin Clarkrange by 15-20 /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  4. HAHHAHAHHAHAHA. I guess you are one of those who believe JC is the best until someone knocks them off. Well I guess we will see come Friday. Clarkrange by 15-20 at least. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  5. I think this could easily be a blowout but like they said, Rogers has too much class for that. The starters will probably play the 1st and part of the 2nd quarter then the young girls will begin to sub in. That's not sayin a whole lot though, as the 2nd team is pretty good too. They are DEEP. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  6. I don't even know what to say about this comment. You must be joking. Guess we'll see here soon enough. From watching Clarkrange play, I dont think any single A team will hang with them unless they have an absolutely terrible night. Also, I think the only teams they lost to this summer were AAA? /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  7. I agree. If every coach put half the time Coach Heady puts into his program, they would be a lot better. He is a dedicated coach to his school and community. Just because Molly is moving does not mean his loyalty to Monterey is gone. Remember he is a parent before a coach. Also Redog, I know for a fact they are looking at a couple houses in Clarkrange to buy so get your info straight before you post. Thats how all these rumors get started.
  8. Obviously, you don't know Monterey football. I know it first hand. If every coach put the dedication and time that he puts in his team, their programs would be much better. He works as hard or harder than most coaches and it has shown in Monterey since he took over. Look at the crowd 5 years ago to now; everything has improved. His players will have respect for him no matter what. I dont think Monterey football will suffer at all with this. Next, I think the coaching probably has a little to do with the move anyway. No offence to Hess, but it rarely works when you have a coach that doesn't even teach there. There is constantly missed practices and you just can't be in the atmosphere enough. Molly is a dedicated player and is constantly in the gym. I think she just wants to be somewhere where everyone around her has the same level of dedication for the sport. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  9. If there was a team created with the top 5 players in 7A (Molly, Laken, Tasha, Kelly, and ?????), they would probably beat just about anyone. A all the way through AAA. Im sure all these girls play AAU too, so they never stop playin and thats exactly what it takes. You definitely get your money worth watching any of those girls. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  10. Molly Heady does work hard and I haven't seen many teams capable of shutting her down. If only she had a stronger team surrounding her. Hard to get any recognition when you are having to do all the work. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  11. Kayla Christopher deserves Mrs. Basketball without a doubt. I haven't seen a team capable of shutting her down. She completely carries her team. Hands down to Kayla
  12. Who cares if they are 0-4 to J County right now. Anyone who has been to the games knows that it should be 2-2 because Clarkrange gave 2 away in the last minute. Record means nothing going into this game. Good luck to both teams /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  13. WOW!!!!!! Im glad im not the only one who seen the walk. Refs were pathetic, possibly the worst I have seen all year and thats pretty bad. Also, Im pretty sure one ref was from J County. That was Clarkrange's game all the way and never should have came down to a 3. Thats 2 wins Clarkrange should have over J County. Not to worry though. They'll get it when it counts /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  14. I dont think Clarkrange will have to tough a time making it past regions. I'm predicting another match up between Clarkrange and Jackson in the near future???? /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  15. Ha, I seriously dont think anyone is jealous of J County lol. They are a great team and may go all the way, but they will have to go through Clarkrange two, maybe three more times. Clarkrange didnt show half of what they are capable of Friday night. They are way better than what they showed and don't need any "suprise" transfers to help them out.
  16. Wow!! You obviously haven't been watching the same Clarkrange team that I have. Twizzler basically read my mind on his reply to this. Kelly Reed definately does not "carry" this team. Nearly every time Clarkrange beats a competitive team its a combined effort of all 5 starters, and on Friday that didn't happen. I'm sure Lamar will get them clicking on all cylinders through practice this week, not to mention the easy matchups against Clay and Monterey. Jackson County is the first competitive team they have played so far and I think it was a good wake up call to get them back on track. Can't wait to see the result of the next one
  17. Definately no doubt about that. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  18. There is no doubt that both of these teams are strong in nearly every aspect of the game. I watched the CR/Van Buren game and the officiating was pathetic. No excuse for 24 fouls but Van Buren is a very hard place to play at. You're right that whichever team comes more ready to play is gonna win this one and probably the next 2 maybe 3 after.
  19. Thats exactly what I said. There was a spotlight at RBS; not at Jackson County. There is more than one "over average" player at Jackson County. Read carefully before you try and make a smart elic reply. That being said, the matchups between these teams will be the biggest of the year by far.
  20. Among the best in 7-A are: Tasha Phillips (Clarkrange), Courtney Dyer (Jackson County), Kelly Reed (Clarkrange), Laken Leonard (Jackson County), and Molly Head (Monterey)
  21. I don't know a whole lot about this situation, but from what I have heard, Leonard isn't the player everyone thought she was going to be. She had the spotlight at RBS which helped a lot, but now she has 2 or 3 other teammates who are just as good, if not better. Anyone have any stats or anything from previous games?
  22. This should definately be a great game but I don't know that JC has any kind of advantage behind the arc. Clarkrange has 5 players that are very accurate from the 3, including post Tasha Phillips. Unlike last year, they now have Green back, who is also a huge asset to the defense. Secondly, I don't see JC being any quicker at all on defense than Clarkrange. Every single one of Clarkrange's players can work the press very well and they don't allow many shots down low between Phillips and Snow. The only thing that I could see hurting Clarkrange is foul trouble. Other than that, they should be ok. I guess we'll see Friday. Good luck to both teams. I pick Clarkrange by 10. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  23. Clarkrange played terrible the first half and let Rbs stay close, but in the second, they turned up their pressure and Rbs could go nowhere. I don't how many points was scored on backcourt steals by Clarkrange. Once Clarkrange gets going there is not many teams who can stop them. With 4 starters (Reed, Green, Phillips, and Lowe, not to mention the first girl off the bench, Franklin) who can shoot very accurate from just about anywhere in the field, and also a post (Snow) who will outsize nearly any other posts for rebounds; there isn't much you can do. They have a very rounded team this year and from what I have seen, they should make it far. The biggest matchup yet for Clarkrange is comin up Friday against Jackson County. Should be one of the best games in 7-A all year. Good luck to both teams!! /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  24. I dont think this game will be very outscored on either side. Especially if Monterey plays the way they did against friendship. I saw more heart in that game than i have seen out of them all season. There was several times when friendship got into the red zone but monterey's defense just wouldnt give up. I think Gordonsville is gonna have to be the team ready for this one. Monterey knows when to step up. Good luck to both teams. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
