  1. what!!? Maplewood had the momentum in the second half and outgained Hillsboro as well as shut them down. The first half was different... Hillsboro did a great job of running counters and screen passes. But, the second half Maplewood stuffed the run and defended the screen pass... Holt got it going and moved the ball fairly easily. I'm not gonna be boski and blame the refs because I think Hillsboro was just flat out the better team, but I think that Maplewood had a couple of opportunities to score points that they missed on because of stupid penalties and quite frankly bad coaching.
  2. Well you saw wrong. In the second half of the game Maplewood beat them on both sides of the ball except for the one pass play. Take off those green and gold colored shades bro.
  3. This is a false statement all the way around. Hillsboro nowhere near DOMINATED the football game. I believe Maplewood left many opportunities on the field. I don't know what game you were watching. When they meet again in the playoffs, it will be a totally different story. Hats off to Hillsboro for a great game.
  4. man you don't know anything about me. To say I don't have any credibility is to say that nobody on these message boards have credibility. I'm a football fan just like you are... I have no reason to exaggerate, c'mon man it's high school football. What do I have to gain from bloating a kid's 40 time? I happen to know a little bit about this particular subject so I decided to offer my knowledge... but just because you don't think it's true I somehow lack credibility? you really need to grow up.
  5. wow... Maybe I should have made it a little more specific. He runs in the 4.3's. Is that better for you? He's been clocked at several camps that he's gone to. He's a track guy also... this past track season he was one of the top sprinters in the state. The good thing about him is that he doesn't lose much of his speed in pads. I don't need to make up crap about the kid, his play speaks for itself.
  6. He's been clocked at 4.38 several times. Is it that hard for you to believe?
  7. Believe what you want to believe... All I know is on Friday he will be the fastest player on the field.
  8. Cause his post has nothing to do with football. Talk about the game and quit all of the personal jabs at the literacy rate at Maplewood. WHO CARES!!
  9. Dude what is your problem? Why the personal attack... nobody is here for a grammar lesson, you know what the guy meant.
  10. Well, we'll agree to disagree Just a side note: Maplewood will be getting back one of their best players this week. Sadaris "Chuck" Jones (LB) will be back after sitting out the last three games due to a shoulder injury. Add him w/ Thomas Majors and Maplewood's chances increase.
  11. I'd have to disagree with you there. I've seen both teams play, and Maplewood is bigger and faster on both sides of the ball.
  12. I don't know the score... But Maplewood wins
  13. What are you 4 years old? Chill out with the name calling because your internet toughness doesn't scare me at all. Nobody gives a crap about a freshman game... Like I said, after tonight I expect you to be on here whining because Maplewood ran up the score... it's going to be a slaughter.
  14. What does what happened in a freakin' freshman game have to do with showing a lack of class in a varsity game? Well, really it's a mute point because Maplewood will definitely embarass McGavock tonight... In their own house.
  15. What do you have against Maplewood?
  16. I'm sorry, but what Maplewood team have you seen? Their corners and safeties will shut that spread down... Also, If Barnes is smart he won't run a lot or he'll be on the receiving end of some hard shots all night. Comparing Coffee Co. to Maplewood is down right laughable. I guarantee your guys haven't seen team speed like the Panthers
  17. Man you really have no idea what Tullahoma is up against. Maplewood is deep at corner and they all can run. Not to mention, Barnes will not have time to throw the ball because of that d-line. Their defense is serious. As for last year's game, the Panthers have so many more weapons this year it's not even funny. Holt has still gone over 100 yds in each game this year, but he's not asked to do nearly as much as he was last year. Trust me, Tullahoma will be in for a long night.
