VB girls won by 50 w/ a score of 65 to 15 I think. Marion has a good post player, but they had serious trouble getting the ball down the floor & handling the ball pressure.

If you lose by 104 it might be best to start correcting your own game rather than worrying about another team running up the score.

Any predictions for the girls game?

The VB boys can be tough especially if we get our post players to go to the basket & our shooters heat up from 3. Right now we are hurt a bit by lack of a true point guard, but we haven't really played a top notch press either.

HS's offense was impressive. They ran it patiently. Keep in mind that VB shot the 3 really well. They were well coached during the VB game, but the bottom line is VB hit more open shots than they did.

VB has a really good freshman guard. Athletically, especially as a freshman, few girls are going to match her. Her shot needs to get a bit better though.

Clay is going to be a good test for VB's boys & girls to see where we are at. We will have to play really well to win. Versus HS we shot well from 3 (10/16) & hopefully we can shoot like that vs Clay.
