  1. With Howard Thursday and East Ridge Friday (both at home) can CSAS finally turn the corner and get a big win, putting an end to their 2-gamelosing streak?
  2. They have no possible comeback. Everyone in Chattanooga knows what goes on in Highland Park. Hope TSSAA doesn't get wind of this. Is D-II in the future?
  3. nope, nice try though. if this were dragoo, do you think he would truly be this calm about ya'll dogging him. just a patriot fan. plus CSAS players are not allowed to get on coacht. they will get suspended if the coach finds out they are on here.
  4. Dragoo is the biggest threat from three point range on CSAS. You have to have a threat out there b/c it keeps the defense honest. He does lead the team in three pointers and ranks first or second in assists.
  5. Great Intelligent comments. The only thing that team did was go undefeated at home, win the district regular season, and have the best record in school history. Boy, he sure messed things up. People always want to point out the coache's son! Get a life!
  6. Dragoo brings alot more to the table than just threes. He gets Powell the ball more than any player on the team. Everyone on CSAS's teams has made crucial mistakes this year at some point in a game so to point him out is unfair. Remember you don't see practice or the work that is put in individually.
  7. I don't know if I would say it was a shot of a lifetime. CSAS is just getting better everyday and the young players are gradually growing up. I think they wanted to prove that they are a team to be reckoned with after their terrible showing at Temple, and they did last night. If CSAS would have been ready to play from the get-go, they would have won. People don't realize how tuff it is to play at CSAS. Its only their fourth loss in 3 seasons at home.
  8. Don't get me wrong i think Temple is good, but if CSAS plays to their potential Temple can't beat them. The reason Temple beat them was it was one of their worst performances of the year.
  9. That was a preview of the region finals.
  10. Sorry, Temple is not that good. And there is no way South Pittsburg will do anything in the post-season. If CSAS plays with the intentsity that they played with in the last three quarters last night, Temple CAN'T beat them.
  11. If CSAS continues to play like that, it will be them and Grace meeting in the Region finals. No doubt about it.
  12. Are you kidding? CSAS always packs their gym out. Its a hard place to play. It gets really loud! Plus its their first home game in 6 weeks. So yes yo better get their early.
  13. What happened to the Temple fan support? CSAS had more fans than them Tuesday night. I know it will be packed at CSAS Friday as the top teams from each district face off.
  14. What is the injury situation with Dilts, Van Horn, and Eldridge being sick?
  15. I don't think the players that Temple was missing would have made that big of a difference because their subs played very well. Temple's focus is Skogen and the role players around him are interchangable.
  16. THey are getting a taste of what CSAS has had to deal with from 1997-2005. It ain't too much fun.
  17. If CSAS plays well against Temple tommorow they can definately win. If CSAS can rebound well and play solid defense they will win because they are deeper and way more athletic.
  18. CSAS is on a 7 game win streak, with their last loss being in overtime to Howard. I do think they have a chance this week to surprise some people because they are the forgotten team. All everyone has talked about is Temple and Grace. CSAS may just sneek up on someone this week.
  19. No other coaches have the connections he has. PERIOD. and with that I contribute my last comment to this topic. I'll let ya'll continue in your ignorance.
  20. all i am saying is that a for a lesser known player to get noticed, it takes their high school coach taking an initiative to call around to colleges to get players noticed. that's true in every sport. it is not as simple as a college seeing a kids name in the paper and them being signed.
  21. you can assume i don't know squat but you know what happens when you assume things. just know that the way things went down was not right, actually down right nasty. however, i don't feel like i can say everything that went on because it is not public knowledge and should be kept that way. let's just say i am very close to the program and know exactly what happened. you'll have to find out from someone else, not me.
  22. Bibee worked har to get those players seen. Liberty or Jacksonville State never came to see those players play. He called those schools. All I am saying is that those kids that he was working on getting into college don't have him as a resource anymore. He pushes hard for those kids and works hard for them just like they worked for him. THose kids will still get looks but maybe not as good of a look. These kids are solid but not standouts that attract the attention that you are talking about. The smaller schools don't have the recruiting budgets to go out and look at everyone, so they depend a lot on high school coaches to send tapes and word of mouth. THe coaches that have been calling won't stop but they could have possibly gone somewhere better if Bibee had been able to continue working on getting them somewhere.
  23. that's nont true at all. recruiting is a much more difficult process than that. ONly two of Baylor's football players, Idelette and McClendon, have gotten that kind of attention. The rest that have played football, Bibee has had to work very hard for. his evaluation of talent was highly respected by college coaches because he has been in a coach in every level of college football. these kids no longer have that help. other athletes from schools around the area have used Bibee as a resource to try to play college because they know he has the connections.
