  1. How about: Holt - #70 at LA - 6'5", 285 lbs. and a JUNIOR!
  2. LA has most of line coming back. They lost Ford to TTU but center Robert Holt (6'5", 285lbs) was the center of the line and is coming back.
  3. Fulton looks good as does Knox Caholic every year. Livingston is going to find out what it means to be a state champion, every other team coming after them, but they have some solid returners on the o-line (big 70 Robert Holt) that their running game will be set. Good Luck all. Fulton looks good as does Knox Catholic every year. 4. All the talk about Cates, which is richly deserved - don't get me wrong, but you need to consider the o-line. Holt (the 6'5'', 285 lb monster you refer to) and the rest of the line have been key to the success of LA running this year. When ND defense came out on the field before the LA game I wondered how they got the nickname the WALL - they were much smaller than the LA o-line, Holt in particular. They (LA o-line) have been a force to reckon with all year. Go LA!
  5. Great post but don't forget that Livingston, the town - not the team - is a great place to live and visit. I married a young lady from Livingston some 15 years ago and we have come back every year to visit family. We were fortunate enough to live nearby this year so we could attend every home AND road game. The citizens of Livingston don't live by the successes of the team, the team lives in the proud shadow of the community. A community that includes doctors, lawyers, administrators, business owners, teachers, maintenance workers and people from every socioeconomic background. This community would do anything for this team not because they are seeing some success this year but because they are the future of Livingston and Overton County. Yes, we have a future and it is bright. We will cheer loud and we will cheer hard this Saturday and win or lose we will head back to our community with the same pride and dignity we left several hours earlier! Go Hogeye.

  9. The coaches left that decision to the offensive line and to a man they said they could get the yards needed. Go Cats!
  10. Good for you kick4pat! The kicking game in LA is just fine. He and the boys will be practicing at Tenn tech this week to adjust to the new surface. Go LA!
  11. How about the kid from Livingston Academy that is blocking for their potent running game? Robert Holt, Junior, 6'5'', 285 lbs!
