It was a good game tonite. Both teams made a couple of mistakes that hurt them. Jeff just made two fewer mistakes than West and it helped them to victory. Story pitched well didnt have to throw the curve too much. I think west had just 4 hits off of him two being bunts. I cant wait to watch both teams next tuesday in a double header. Only bad thing for jeff is that Story can't pitch both of them

if i remember correctly west took to out of three durin the regular season last year from jeff. Story pitched the first one in which west beat jeff 7-2. So i dont know why you're talkin bout a lob-sided rivalry???

Jeff county fans will never change, not even after their team loses. To their fans they are still the best team in the world and no one can beat them. It was just a fluke. the other team was throwin their 5th pitcher too, but it's still not fair. Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah grow up!

no #22 is nick greene he is a sophomore marshall is #10 and he keeps gettin worse as the years go on. He used to be a pretty good pitcher but his velocity has fallen and he doesnt hit his spots as much

Morristown West had two freshman start a lot of games for them last year in Wild and Hazelwood. They had a pretty good year and i dont think it should hurt to start freshman on varsity. if it was football then definetly no but i baseball it is not a bad idea at all. If a freshman is better than an upperclassmen than they should play

hahahaha ok just because west doesnt run three miles a day doesnt mean they dont work hard maybe they work at some fundamentals of baseball! And as for having one pitcher in brdigewater, they also have griffin back who is going to be a good pitcher like he was as a sophomore and east has no pitchin and marshall isnt that great and east has no other pitchers besides collins so tell me who all is going to pitch for them??

Lamar Brown going to East???????? You have to be kidding me why would he take that job when indeed he did turn down the jeff job, where he grew up. He would be crazy to leave West to take the head coach job at East. He will probably wait till Coach Woods leaves and take the job at West

West looks to be the favorite didnt lose much from last year just the player that had the most errors in the state so that will help but east should be pretty good so i believe it will be between West and East

Ok everyone always says that east is going to be better, we hear it every year and every year east proves to be the same team. They should be better next year but will not compete for the imac title. And i have to agree the coaching at west is heads and shoulders above any other team in the imac and that should make the difference in 06

Mo west lost some key players from last year's squad. How good will Mo West be in 06? Do they have a chance against Maryville or do they even have a chance to get the game against Maryville???

it does not matter how many students there are it only matters about some percentage thing. all of the schools are having increase in population so for now niether school really has anything to worry about

haha u have to be kidding me right? Powell couldnt beat Mowest and central couldnt either. And for Alcoa they would keep it a close game until late! I just love how everyone underestimates the Trojans from Morristown West! I guess that we will all see that after the game everyone will be changing their minds on how good the Trojans are!

Ok first of all lets all get this straight! Everyone always talks about how great maryville's schedule was, What in the world was so tough about it????? Why don't lets all look at what maryville's regular season opponents records were. There combined record was 53-57!!! what in the world is so great about that?? Yeah they played Alcoa and that is about the only great team on there schedule. Central is not as good as everyone says. And as for Maryville's D being good, they are not good I watched some film on them against Central and Powell and they both moved the ball on them steadily! Maryville's D is quick but not big enough to tackle the West backs! they are quick and get off blocks good but they will not be able to stop the running game, and if some miracle happens and they do then West should be able to throw it on them because there corners bail on every single play. So everyone thinkin that West has no chance is way way wrong! And about the stats thing, West could have easily put up about 70 on a few teams but they didnt they should some class and in the playoffs when the teams scored it was on there 2nd D so they stats are not right and are way misleading! Everyone should come to the game friday and see how the Trojans are going to dominate the Rebels up front!!!
