I hope BA does not realize the talent they have right here in there own backyard (Brentwood) with Brian Rector of Ravenwood, that guy is not only a great X's and O's coach but he is the most commanding coaching presence I have ever been around. He should probably be a motivational speaker once he is done with football. I couldn't blame him for taking that job if it was offered but I would like it if he stayed a Raptor.

Regardless if BA hires Rector or not , I have never been around a more charasmatic coach in my life. If they do sit down with him and get to know how much he could do for that program. They will take that program back to the national championship years. I would hate to lose coach rector but that would be one heck of an opportunity for his family.

This is my last post on this subject and then hopefully we will all move on. But let's remember that fans are a completely different than players. Fan's historically in all sports can sometimes act ridiculus, but players must remember to keep thier composure. If saw fans doing something like this I personally would not care but if you are privaleged enough to be on that grid iron representing any sport you must not let fans get the best of your emotions. Smyrna players you guys are state champs and you deserve to be. Everyone makes mistakes but it is what you learn from mistakes that makes you better. Congratulations and we will see you in the next battle!!

I was at the game and yes that did happen!!! I can even confirm with my own eyes that there was one player that made an obscene gesture to our fans and students along with all the other taunting from about half of their team right on our sideline. In defense of the Smyrna coaching staff once they realized what their players were doing they ran over in disbelief to try and stop it. Now I will give props when props are due and yes Smyrna put a whipping on us in the second half. But please explain to me why those kids had to embarrass their parents and coaches like that because that is who really should be mad. I don’t understand why the Smyrna players came running over to our sideline instead of going over to their fans and soaking up their win. Let's face it their 17 yr. old kids they don't know squat about squat. But if I had knowledge of my son doing something like that I can promise you one thing he and I would probably have to take a trip out behind the wood shed after he made it back home last night. I would probably even make him be man enough to get on this thread and publicly apologize. I will congratulate Smyrna on there victory but I think unfortunately the coaching staff should make a public apology in the Tennessean and on this thread for what their players did last night even though they had absolutely no control over it. I would like to know if there is anyone out there that agrees or disagrees with my comments.

let's not make this thread about nice clothes or any other superficial things that have nothing to do with with football. Both smyrna and nolensvile/ brentwood are great areas of town!!

I know all about Ravenwood, but I need someone to be very specific about the different BA players and why they are so dominating. Someone breakdown thier roster for me. I would appreciate the help!!

Ravenwood has some big shoes to fill this year, But they do have some very talented players returning and transfered in!!The scrimmage was definately a good one , but not quite as lop-sided as some of you are making it. I will tip my hat to Antioch's coach Mike Woodward and his staff , they will be a team to watch out for this year. Also whoever is #2 for Antioch's JV and is a QB needs to be playing tailback or a slot receiver and returning punts "That kid moves like Reggie Bush!!" Can anyone tell me what the story is on that kid.

I have seen TC stand at the 50 and throw the football through the goal post stand still. That is atleast a 70 yard toss. Arm strenght not a issue.

Things are going to heat up real soon on this thread. There is a ton of interest in him and he has already had offers. I won't say too much but stay tuned SEC Fans.
