  1. Forrest kept turning the ball over. When East Lit kicked into 5th gear, they just couldn't keep up. Overall, the eagles looked great against the rockets.....should be a great game against East Robertson tomorrow!!
  2. NCS, from what I can tell, is alot like the VB eagles. The NCS eagles have about one bad quater a game, maybe two. For either one of the teams to win, they do have to play complete games. If both teams play all 4 quarters, it should be a great game. Good luck to both Eagles.
  3. This is to clearify some darkness on the other teams... Forrest(9-A#2) vs. East Literature(10-A#3) -All I can figure out for Forrest is: Corey Shankle 16.8ppg Foward Any other info on Forrest would be helpful. -For East Literature: Jamal Morris 15.2 ppg 5'8" Guard...the kid is very fast and can jump out of the gym, great D. Kelvin Winrow 12.2 ppg 6'1" Post....shoots very well inside and out, great with ball in hands. ....Any other input would be great!!! Nashville Christian(10-A#2) vs. Van Buren Co.(9-A#3) -For Van Buren Co.: Justin Smith 13.2 ppg 6'3" Foward Dustin Plemmons 12.7 ppg, 2.7 3's a game 6'0" Guard Derrin Baker 10.7 ppg 6'3" Guard/Foward Grant Mooneyham 10.5 ppg 6'4" Foward Seems that VB is very balanced and tall. Any other info would help!! -For Nashville Christian Russell Frazier 18.9 ppg, 2.5 3's a game 6'1" Guard/Foward....plays great D, great with the ball, shoots great inside and out. Andrew Givens 13 ppg 6'4" Foward....huge under the boards, games changing player if stays out of foul trouble. Zach Bledsoe 2.5 3's a game 5'7" Guard....has great outside shot, fast on D Caden Anderson 5'10" Guard.....sees the floor great, great leadership and decision making. .... Any other input would be great!!! Congrats to East Robertson and Eagleville on their wins last night. Good luck to the teams remaining!!!
  4. You know what, I'll agree with you that yall will be good next year, and that East Robertson and East Lit had great seasons; however ruling the distict is a stretch. The only players NCS loses are Givens and Flieshour, also Motessori doesn't loses much either. However, you're forgeting one other thing. In order to be good next year, you're players have to play and not sit on the bench due to suspensions. You might want to get a control on your attitude, because if your attitude is consistant with the content of your posts, then yall will have the same problems next year. Good luck to the teams that ARE in the region!!!!
  5. What are some of the predictions out there for the first round?
  6. What are some predictions out there for the first round?
  7. Congats to East Robertson for the deserved win. They out played NCS on the defensive side of the ball. Great effort by all the teams that played tonight. Also congrats to: Tyler Fosnes John Wilks Jacob Fuqua Russell Frazier Andy Givens Caden Anderson ....for making the All District Team!! Also, I have a question, what happened to the tournement MVP award?
  8. What is your problem man, why are you so bitter? What did you mean by "you need to see what ncs stands for..."? I'm not trying to be a smart, only trying to get a better understanding of what you said, so I can answer it. And FYI, I went to NCS so, i have a pretty good idea of what it stands for.
  9. That's no problem margotfos, I figured he wasn't an East Robertson fan. Maybe you can answer a question for me, why do Heritage fans try and but into threads that don't even concern their teams? It's no wonder they're disliked. Good luck in the championship tonight for BOTH teams!!!
  10. Well, your right about one thing at least, you are hated.
  11. You take compliments from other people and turn them into insults? I honestly don't see how you can say that. When they called off what would've been the tying shot at the NCS vs. East Robertson game, Voldad had nothing but praises for East Robertson and their players. I'll agee that NCS has their share of bad sports in the stands and occasionally on the floor, but the only one being that right now is you. Good luck to BOTH teams tonight, it's going to be a great game!
  12. Come on know, you know I'm a die-hard NCS fan. In fact I havn't missed a game in over 2 years. I also drove to Springfield and watched you in the TNT. I'm only saying that you don't need to start stuff on here, because then you'd be as low as they are. PLAY SMART!!!! Good luck tonight man!!
  13. Should be a great game tonight. Both games between these teams were decided my a combined 7 points. I'm not going to make any predictions, but I will say this; it's hard to beat a team 3 times in a season. However, it'll be a physical game and anything can happen. Good luck to both teams.
  14. Houton County vs. Montessori Academy 4:00 McEwen vs. Nashville Christian 7:00 Both played at Clarksville Academy
  15. LOL.....good job Wes. Man, please stop trying to start stuff.
  16. Thanks for the support hrhitter. However, I do have to give it to WHH for being a great team with talented players. Somtimes the best team on the floor isn't the best team on a certain night, which is what I think happened.
  17. Come on now guys, your just trying to start something. Just take the win and play hard the rest of the way. hrhitter......why do you have to try and start stuff man, just play the game.
  18. I agree that Frazier is up there, but you cannot forget about all the other great players in the district. In order... Shawn Kennedy Russell Frazier Tyler Fosnes Kelvin Winlow Joseph Elrod Jamal Morris John Wilks Clay Head Jared Hill Honorable Mentions: Kurt Reeves Randall Sanders Michael Brookshire Jeremy Williams Tico Andrews Jacob Fuqua Andrew Givens Trey Smith Tyler Slagle I know there are too many names here, but all these players deserve recognition for the achievements this year!!!! GREAT YEAR MEN!!!
  19. Look man, I agree that not many people like Carlisle. However, you can't make the assumption that not many people like Charlie Anderson. To be completely honest, being as a graduate of NCS, he's not my favorite coach either, but you cannot argue with his numbers as a coach. He's admired throughout the state as being a great coach, and as a great teacher of the game. As far as I can see, he doesn't really give anyone any reason not to think highly of him, unless you count lossing a reason. Now, good luck to the remaining teams in the district, and good luck in the region as well!!!
  20. He is a player, that's for sure. He's more of a complete player rather than just a 3pt shooter, but he does have a pretty shot.
  21. I agree with you BDPMOM, this post isn't even talking about basketball anymore. The only thing that is consistant with the original topic is the schools. I am a full believer in all the heckling back and forth, but this post has gone too far. I don't understand how anyone person can know so much about basketball that they're never wrong, but this thread has a ton of them. This isn't pointed at anyone directly, but next time you post just ask yourself; if its not posted will I live to the next day. I bet that the answer in most cases is YES.
  22. Look man, I never said he shot like Redick, I said he was that type of player. As for giving you a break, ok...here it is. You're right in the fact that Montessori Academy isn't a good team, but over the years it's become clear that a kid who is really good can play for a bad team because he is only one man. As for his stats, 22.1 ppg, 103 3's on the years or 3.7 a game. Like I said earlier, he's a Redick TYPE player, because he creates his own shot and has a quick release for the catch and shoot.
  23. As far as I know, the roads here in Nashville are clear. I guess that if any games would be canceled it would be because of the roads up toward Jo Byrns, East Robertson, and WHH. Also, as for your original question, I'm not quite sure what the action would be. I think that all district games have to be finished by the end of this week, so whatever they decide, they have to make that deadline.
  24. Thanks for clearing it up for me.
  25. I know me asking might be like salt in a open wound, but what happened in the Houston County vs. McEwen game. Was it just an off night, were you saving your players for the tourny, or did they just show up to play? Please, someone tell me because this game has me so confused.
