Culleoka must have been in this position before. Richland is always a lock to win it all like they are every year and Culleoka beats them 2 or 3 times a year. Did Richland really believe they were just going to show up and win? If you want to realize how close the game was and how Culleoka dominated so much Coach Slatten didn't call a time out at all until the richland football players got out there with a minute to go and Slatten called a timeout to put the freshmen in.

Yeah all of Culleoka's team dislikes Demario. You guys don't have a clue, I'd be mad if I knew I had to play against him as well and getting on here and complaining about your alma mater having trouble with him is quite funny.

Whoever is going to college that plays on richland's basketball team must have had good ACT scores, it has nothing to do with their basketball skills.

Richland do ya'll have more of those high flyers and the best dunkers in the south again this year? They all sure showed up last year. But I don't see Phil Jackson or Pat Riley helping the Richland Raiders. And whoever the Melear guy is I'll take Demario and give you 20pts. Riding splinters- are your initials D.L.?

All I have to say is great season Culleoka. Yeah we all know season don't count and I don't care. Wayne Co. played better last night, hit shots, and won the game. To all the seniors, you're going to be missed and you're going to miss it. I wish ya'll luck, and goodluck to next years team.

Last night wasn't Culleoka's night. They played really well against Perry co., and played one of their worst games against Wayne Co. So now everyone can talk about how they were overrated, and could be right since they didn't win it all. But Demario is a very good player and earned every award he got, and there will be plenty more to come. I think sometimes all the ratings and talking turn the game into something it isn't. Maybe that's just me, Goodluck to CA and Wayne Co.

Santa fe lets face it, ya'll were lucky to make it to the region, I hope ya'll win but if you do H*** might freeze over. But goodluck.

Well... just saying I know ya'll been waiting for Mario to get blocked so ya'll could jump on it and make him look bad, what's new? But if it's a moral victory to block him, congrats on that, but Culleoka won the district and that was their goal. Just amazing how someone can not like people that do nothing wrong but play better then they can and could.

Wow... This doesn't suprise me, let's start hating on someone more because we couldn't stop this kid all year and now he's nominated to mr. basketball. And Culleoka wanted to win a lot more than CA did last night, and CA was outplayed. That block was pretty amazing wow, he was falling backwards and never jumped and gets blocked...AMAZING. And if I remember correctly bballer13, last year Mario caught up to you on a layup, and every started complaining about goaltending. I thought that block was nice.

I KNOW he's saying he wants Culleoka to be first going in to the tournament, maybe that's it. And that is b/c Culleoka lost to CA twice, but I think first place in more important.

Yea, I don't blame ya, Culleoka had a state ranking not anyone else from Maury Co. I would be gunning for them too. Maybe since whoever you're team is can't beat them maybe cheer for someone else. I'm pretty sure Culleokarep was referring that Moore Co. lost to CA by 1 point at CA, and don't think he said anything about Culleoka's team on here.

Great game. It's pretty amazing seeing Tennessee players on ESPN. Willie Kemp himself kept them in the game after Chism went out. I just hope the next game will be as good as this one was.

Why did you have to make a thread about this? This should be something you tell them after the game. No one cares.

I hope that ain't the case but if it is I hope that the other guys are ready to play and pick it up. Last year Culleoka had a bunch of players missing and that killed them all year. They were missing a starter at CA and they weren't ready to play, I just hope they don't get down and are ready to play, and please let them press.

Other than Huntland I'd say this drive and court is the hardest to go in and win in the disrict. But I don't think Moore Co. has the ability to match up with Culleoka and I'll say Culleoka by 12 or more.

I just enjoy whenever Richland wins a game and all of the sudden their season has turned around and they are going great now, and they barely beat Santa Fe. Richland could get lucky and shoot about 90% and maybe beat Culleoka but I just don't see it happening. What's a postal jacket, and do you wear it every game?

...BTW top 6 in the district, there is only 7 teams and I thought it was a dog fight with Richland and Cornersville for the 6th spot.

Richland didn't show up (literally after halftime) against Culleoka the other night on their home floor, but they get a win tonight over Santa Fe on a down year and all of the sudden they are supposed to mentioned with the front runners of the district. They are streaky and they haven't made a game of it against Culleoka so they are not going to be up there when it's all said and done.

Culleoka has a pretty good one in CJ. He's only a freshman but it's a pretty good feeling when he comes in, a good spark to the team.

That call was the single worst call I have ever experienced since I've been around high school basketball. It almost seems like CA gets a little extra help around here, might just be me. Wished the game would have went the other way and I can almost guarentee that in the district tournaments it will be a different story, the guys and Slatten won't get beat 3 times in one season again. I don't doubt coach Slatten but I just want to know why he never pressed in the game.
