  1. you must be drinking the same cool-aid as the retarted kids, because we led most of the second half, and had it not been for the first half being the worst they had played all year, they would ahve beat you by 10 or 20...like i said on another thread...consider yourself lucky, because when you play someone good who is playing good, youll get embarrassed, because you played the game of your life last night and barely won against their worst
  2. What is sad is that they weren't excuses...and excuse is saying the refs gave the game away...if a guy is sick, he is sick, if he is injured, he is injured...they still scored points, but that was not our problem...our problem was goose not being 100 percent on defense, because usually we do not give up those kinds and amounts of transition lay-ups...anyone who was at the game also saw that Shaud was slow on defense... now if you even totally disreguard that....the vikings turned the ball over 14 times i hte first half, and played pretty much the worst half of basketball they have played since their first game in the bahamas...and the tribe, credit to them, played about as well as they could play, and still skimmed by by the skin of their teeth...you better consider yourselves lucky, because that won't happen again
  3. i don't think DB can handle Goose in the low post...no one has yet...the frontlines of Volunteer, Boone, and South have failed to do so.... Also they play that pesky 2-3 which has been working great all year, holding teams leading scorers to well below their average and not letting any rythem come about....not to menion the amount of deflections and turnovers their press is creating....THS is a different team this year and will be too much for the Indians to handle, especially at Viking Hall
  4. south WAS a force to be reckoned with, and THS reckoned with them, and straight up outplyed them without DeShaud, th "ball hog" who has the most assists on the team this year... i believe, yea, the last time i checked, THS and DB are the ONLY undefeateds left in tthe big 9, and no one talk about them....they square off monday night, in the REAL, best game to watch....South and Science hill had an epic, epic battle for 3rd and 4th place
  5. i didn't see the game either, but aparently Wattad did all he could do to keep his twam in it, but in the end you were right, the size prevailed...If i heard correctly, Hauldren scored his 1000th point last night, congrats to him...this game shows the level competition of the conference the only two undefeateds in the conference are DB and THS, who play on monday for sole possession of first in the big 9....that will be a good one to watch
  6. how can you play to the level of the competition and lose....oh yea, becasue ou are overrated...THS came in and kicked you right where it counts and shut you up in your own gym...you didnt play to their levl, and you certainly didnt rise to the occasion, let me know when you become contenders and not pretenders...until then just shut up, cause you barely beat sullivan east
  7. Science Hill can get awy with playing some freshmen early in the year like this...but once the conference season gets going, they won't be able to do that successfully...its too competitive unles you just have freshmen who are amazing, and they don't...there fresh legs didnt help them in the tournament this past weekend, i think they should take the risk of only being 7 or 8 deep and win some games like that... our squad at THS is going 12 and 13 deep and winning basketball games with a lot of contributors...we are keeping fresh legs and running away from our opponents... i think science hill will beat south because south is over rated and the hill has a pretty good squad this year...this will be a good one to watch...

  9. Tennessee /high blows out Daniel Boone tonight and puts them 3-0 in the big nine headed into friday nights contest at Volunteer, which is not an easy place toplay....can they win, and where will the be in the conference before the Classic starts? VIKING PRIDE
  10. you punks are absolutely crazy...its okay to talk trash...WHEN YOUR TEAM IS WINNING....how can you sit there and say you are gonig to thrash DB, who is definately got you in athletics, when you cant even hold us off at home with DeShaud on the bench...you better start elevating your game or you will be watching the conference blow right by you...go burns some leaves...thats about all you all are good for
  11. Tennessee High outplayed the states 5th ranked team in AAA on Tuesday night...even without 3 year starter DeShaud Johnson, who was benched due to a mishap in hte Bahamas tournament... How did the do it? i guess South will blame it on the3 refs, becaue that is all the can do...but anyone who was there could clearly see that the Rebels just got outplayed.... Some fans have said the havent seen that kind of heart from a battered team at THS in a long time...the grit and determination it takes to win on the road in the big 9 conference is important every single game, but the vikes did in with half their original roster.... Congratulations fellas, keep on rolling
