JC just didn't have it tonight.. Congrats to LA played tight D and hit big shots.. Don't get down Blue Devils winning 12 out of the last 13 is very impressive and let's end it winning 15 out of 16.. Good luck to both teams

I played 4 years of varsity basketball and 3 years of varsity baseball so yea I did play sports in High School.. and since when is playing dirty motivation to a team.. Jacob Wright isn't passionate.. he just doesn't like it when another team is better than what eerybody expects them to be and they learn how to guard him and it makes him mad so he starts throwin elbows cause he can't get his way.. and I knew a PC fan would get on here sooner or later and down the refs.. I do agree with the double foul though.. It can't be both.. But I think they missed a couple Flagerent fouls!

This is true.. I mean Temple has already been to Pickett and lost by 10 and Grace came to the Boro and barely skimmed by.. But JC is a much better team now and I think it would be a different outcome if they were to play today.. But one thing I want to point out is when JC loses they lose with class.. It's nobodys fault but their own and when they win they win with class.. You never hear any of the players or coachs get on here and talk trash after proving people wrong.. I think that is Coaching discipline and player humbleness.. when a team that has won 12 games in a row and in that span beating teams like Upperman, Station Camp, LA, Pickett, Cookeville, etc.. and never " tootin their own whistle" so to speak.. I think JC has got something special brewin in the BORO and I hope they keep winnin!

Anyone know where all the Bobcat fans are?.. I haven't heard any complaining about the refs yet.

First of all Jacob Wright is one of the dirtiest players I have ever watched play.. I saw several instances where he threw an elbow towards a JC defender.. He got caught once and should've been tossed.. and if that weren't enough Loftis #31 cut through the lane and somehow Hollywood fell and grabbed Derek's leg pulling him to the ground.. I don't know how he got to stay in the game.. But I think Jackson County deserves a little credit.. They kept their cool when the pressure was on and came out on top.. Missed some very very very critical free throws that could've ended the game sooner and missed alot of easy lay-ups.. I think if JC capatilizes on free throws and lay-ups that should've been hit then its not even a ball game.. But I know one thing I was letting the refs know I was there.. It was definitely a game worth watching.. unlike what PC predicted a 20+ point victory for the bobcats.. I can't wait to see what happens in region

Only hours away.. This is huge for both teams.. A win for Jackson County more than likely gives them a 1 seed.. but a win for Pickett mixes things up.. I can't wait to see the outcome! Good luck to both teams

Agreed no more county bashing.. But it is hard to be humble when someone speaks on a subject that they know nothing about.. back to basketball.. Grace should not be in top 10.. and Temple should not have gotten any first place votes.. They definitely should have dropped down a couple more spots but they did lose a very tough game on the road.. You take PC to Temple and we may be singing a different song.. and I know Grace Christian is still undefeated but I still don't think they should be getting the publicity they are.. They only play a handfull of decent opponents.. Other than that it is smooth sailing

What is that supposed to mean you thought Jackson Co was the one with the drug problem? What do you know about Jackson County? Nothing, exactly. Why would you say something like that? I guess its typical for a pickett County fan to down any county whose team has beaten them.. I can't wait to see those swollen heads of ya'lls get shrank friday night.. We might not win but I know that PC will have to earn a win in the BORO.. cause JC has something to prove and there is nothing that would boost them more than a season sweep of the pre-season power house Bobcats

There is nothing to reject.. PC always has a reason for why they lost.. they can never just admit that the other team might have played better.. or maybe that the team was better.. No its the refs or PC isn't playing to their potential.. but you pull off a big one against Temple and WOW all of a sudden PC is back.. State Champions watch out!.. PC won't give credit where credit is due and you know it.. never have and never will.. They always lose cause of the refs .. but when they win o my goodness they are the Dallas Mavericks of the NBA! O and I believe that Station Camp is a very good team who would play with PC maybe even beat PC.. Cookeville could.. Independance definitely would.. What happened against White County and Shelbyville.. So you shouldn't throw those up in peoples face.. White County is very good this year and Shelbyville is always a top contender... and if i'm not mistaken Upperman and LA beat York .. 2 teams of which JC has beaten... I'm sure we will have much to talk about come friday night about 10:30

No you aren't giving credit.. You're just saying it is hard to win on the road!.. I know both coachs personally and i know neither of them told you.. Hey i thought I could really pull one over and "CHEAT" by sending another shooter to the free throw line.. Our coachs don't do that.. And we haven't played White Co., Shelbyville, but we have played Independance, Kenwood, Cookeville, and Station Camp.. I think both schedules are nearly even.. but according to any Pickett County fan there is not team in the State or Nation for that matter good enough to take them down.. never has been and never will be!.. well We shall see come friday!

I have gotten a techincal foul for trying to point out to the refs that the wrong shooter shot free throws for another team.. That is low.. Why don't you just go ahead and blame us for cheating.. Don't be mad cause JC outplayed you.. I can't wait to see the game friday.. I don't think it will matter if we beat you again.. It will still be the refs cause it was at JC.. If we lose then PC is gonna win state.. No matter what JC will never get credit from a pickett county fan!

Hmm the same downward spiraling LA team who is still towards the top of 7AA.. and the same JC team that barely beat LA took down Upperman @ Upperman last night.. Thats 2 wins against 7AA teams that most teams in that district can't even get.. @ Baxter and @ LA

JC lost on a prayer from half court.. and it was their first or second game of the year.. BUT THEY STILL LOST!.. atleast teams from district 7A can admit they lost.. I'm sure that the refs were as bad if not worse than they always are when JC beat PC at Pickett.. I honestly can't wait to see the rematch this Friday.. because PC isn't the only team playin some good ball right now.. JC took down Upperman last night for their 10th straight win.. they have a tough district game with C-Range tues.. and then the game that will make or break a district championship for JC.. Who said it couldn't be done? Where are the haters now? JC is looking like a team to be reckoned with. Pickett pulled off a big win over Temple tonight... Can't wait to see that rematch this friday.. i do believe that if JC plays good...or should i say "boro ball" they could knock off Pickett County and sweep them......but if they play JC sytle and the officals aint that great then.....it will be a very close game.....but i look foward to attending this game....its gunna be sweet!!

I guess JC had somewhat of a mental lapse last night.. Although I didn't get to attend the ball game I think there is something good to come from this game.. JC didn't play very well(or atleast thats what it sounds like) and still found a way to win.. I think they will redeem themselves at clay county

Right now JC is the better team due to the fact that they went TO Pickett and beat the Pre-Season #1.. Now if Pickett comes to the Boro and beats a rollin Blue Devils team then it will be even.. and the tourneys will have to decide the tie breaker

JC boys are finally making believers out of people.. beating some top ranked teams such as LA, Cookeville, Pickett, Station Camp, and took Grace down to the wire and lost it with a buzzer beater.. There is a big difference in this years team compared to last.. They are incredibly deep having 10-12 players scoring night in and night out.. They are now a second half team with experience.. They know what they have to do in the 3rd and 4th quarters to put a game out of reach.. They are well conditioned (thanks to "The Ol' Ball Coach" Coach Godwin) which doesn't really matter considerin that there are 2 and 3 guys filling every position who is just as good as the other.. and I think alot of players have stepped up this year.. Loftis and Kerley got some minutes last year but weren't really considered a factor.. but this year both have stepped up in big games.. I think Dem Devil Boys gonna do alot of damage come tourney time!

Well put.. I haven't seen UC play I just go by what I hear.. And this is true that they are the favorite until someone proves otherwise.. But i'm still rootin for the ol' Blue Devils from the JC.. "Poor it own em'.. Eww Eww Eww!"(if you've ever been to a JC game you know exactly what that is all about)

So UC played Brentwood Acad. I guess that means that Jackson County is doin alright playin Independance who beat #1 DII BA

Who does Grace Christian play.. they have the 105th strenth of schedule.. I mean with that easy of a schedule I think some middle school teams could play varsity single A
