  1. Hunter DeBerry - Columbia State Hunter Fowler - Columbia State Both from Hardin County. Go Tigers
  2. Does anyone know the score of this game last night...........
  3. I think the wide reciever spots are already filled. The best two in the state were both Juniors last year. So it has to be Hardin County's Hunter Deberry and Maryville's Tyler Maples. Both have had great years again.
  4. Hardin County did only put together one complete drive.........how did they do it? Short passes over the middle..........you have to have someone willing to do that and take the hits..........If you have this person on your team then yeah beating them is no problem. Their DB's will get stunk in and then you can beat them deep.
  5. It was early in the year and Hardin Co. got better every week. I really think that Henry Co. will be able to run at the corners but they will have toopen the game with a passing attack. I mean passing every down. Not any 1 or 2 yard passes. Throw the 5 to 10 yard passes. ALso any kind of trick pass play you can come up with run it. They over pursue on every play. One other thing they do no have a long snapper or a punter. HC 32 Melrose 30
  6. Yeah Hunter Deberry did play and played very well. I'm not sure but had 8 catches for about 100 yards. I think he got hit about 8 times every time he touched the ball but just kept fighting. The most remarkable thing about his yardage was that it was underneath their coverage where he had to take a pounding. He was open all night underneath and behind the Melrsoe DBs.
  7. That would be correct. Sam Shutt out ran the whole Melrose kickoff team for a TD. The other WR Hunter Deberry could not be stopped. He caught every ball he got close to and it took more than one defender to bring him down every time. As far as Melrose covering them.........well you must have seen a different game that I did because they were open all night long. Henry County if you can half way throw the ball that night you will light up those DB's.
  8. Weather ..Weather.........or Weather......I believe both teams had to play in the same weather. I told you the other day that this was a much improved Hardin County team. We will never know about how it would've ended had the weather cooperated. I am sure Hardin County would have beaten them far worse. Even though the weather was bad DeBerry and Shutt had no trouble beating there DB's. Don't be too sure they won't give Melrose a run for it Friday night either...
  9. Hardin County Tigers.........dual burners at the WR Hunter Deberry and Sam Shutt..both of these guys are running right at 4.4 - 4.45 40's. I wonder if any team in the state can match them. let alone cover them.
  10. Hardin County Wide Receiver Hunter Deberry makes the headlines. Great Article and proud to see him get some recognition. Checkout this website for all the information. http://tennessee.scout.com/
  11. You guys are giving Hardin County no respect....Munford beats JCM with and then Hardin County loses to Munford...(only on the scoreboard which I know is where it counts) However, if you were there you know the score should have been Hardin Co. 28 and Munford 7. With all the extra chances Hardin County had the ball inside the twenty 5 times and inside the ten 2 times.....If Hardin County plays the same game they played against Munford last week....andl ooking at each game Munford had a lot more trouble with Hardin County than they did JCM.........Hardin County 28 JCM 7
  12. I think this nmay be the game of the week in West Tennessee. Munford is undefeated in region play and Hardin County with something to prove.......Ask Lexington about Hardin County, they are far better than there record shows.......defintely should be at least 6-1 instead of 4-3.
  13. Mr. Drewcephus you bring up a good point about the recievers.......does Brighton have any corners that run with them........DeBerry and Shutt both can fly.......
  14. Both teams have a chance in this one.......however the team that wins will have the best chance of making it to the playoffs........who will it be?
  15. Well YANKER........I will remember you said that.....It does make a difference whether you can hit a reciever in full stride or he has to jump and fight for the ball........not all there fault on how they catch it but they can catch it.........And as for your prediction on the JCM and Henry County......You have pretty much got it right JCM will shutout Henry County......One other fact you obviously don't know is that Spencer Jackson had knee surgery just 11 days before the game friday night...when it comes to his line play he is a man among boys......he needs more credit that what you have given him...........
  16. Yes they did, they put the pressure on the quarterback and kept it coming all night........
  17. I will have to agree on the coment about #7 Hunter DeBerry and #4 Sam Shutt, they are probably the best wide recievers in West Tennessee. They maybe the fastest set of recievers on one team in the state. I'm not sure I've ever seen any high school recievers that can make adjustments to get to the ball they way they do.....Also need to give some attention to Spencer Jackson DT......Henry County tried to slow him down but had no such luck.
  18. What kind of line does Henry County have this year. How many juniors and seniors.......defense and offense...........I had heard that they were one of the strong points for the team......and then I had also heard that the offense line had not really done its job thus far this year...........
  19. Should be a great game...........both teams needing to start region play with a win would be huge.......I think after last years game that this will become one of those long lasting rivalries. How do you think it will come out......I haven't decided yet
  20. FAST RECIEVERS..........They are all over the state......GREAT HANDS...........Now the pool gets a little less crowded...........TOP RECIEVERS.....Even a smaller number now.....Maybe the top three recievers in the state would be Tyler Maples, Hunter DeBerry and Todd Campbell. These three guys are the complete package.
  21. Also just in case the 44 you had listed is to be added to...........I don't see how you could leave off Hardin County's Hunter DeBerry. He made All State 4A WR last year and with those stats. 31 catches 857 yards and 13 tds. He ran a 6.41 sixty in Memphis last week and that was not just on one stopwatch. Do you know how that compares to a 40 time...........He is a burner and has unbelievable breakaway speed to go along with great hands.
  22. Hey Don, when will the list be posted......I am very curious about who made it from Region 7 4A.
  23. I hear that during the TBCA Worth tryouts Hunter DeBerry - Hardin County ran a 6.41 @ Briarcrest.
  24. Since you bring up the sixty yard dash................what are the fastest 60's in the state. Names and times please
