  1. Howard being picked to win 3-3a but falling to ND, who in turn lost to Meigs. But bones is right, still to early.
  2. I'm retired from the water business. You ever think about gettin a hobby? NEEDLEpoint or somethin like that, it would be good for you. Any word on either of the teams? How practice is going and whatnot?
  3. The coaches care, what players put on here reflects directly back onto their school and ultimately back on the coaches. Granted some players are responsible enough to get on here but if a Meigs player was gettin on here making a fool of the scool and the program then you can bet coach martin would put an end to it, and he has in the past.
  4. We played there last year, the midfield logo is very nice. It does look like it takes hours to keep maintained but its very nice. This reminds me of last year, McMinn Central "disgraced" the midfield logo at Notre Dame then complained when the Irish hung 50 on them and didnt pull any starters out late in the game. Gotta love them Irish.
  5. I can see where that would have a lot to do with this.
  6. Would you post if you were playin South Pitt? South Pitt could compete with the majority of the teams in this state regardless of classification. No offense but Basin is down and it wont be much of a game in my opinion.

  8. Webb is a good coach but in all honesty when they were averaging 40+ a game a 4 year old could have called the plays and done as well. Meigs had the athletes then to run whatever, whenever, and a lot of times they did. Best of luck to the Webber though. Is he still dreamin up plays on pizza boxes?
  9. I've only got 13 hours a week and a lot of my homework assignments including several quizes, one of which I'm doing right now, are submitted online so I'm on here quite a bit. I hope that is a sufficient enough answer for you.
  10. ....deal with what? I backed up your statement. I said the official did a bad job. I was at the game wonderin why the clock wasnt stoppin. No sense in gettin on to me when i'm backin up your statement.
  11. Sequoyah will have a big boost from beating McMinn Central. Wont matter though, they'll get outcoached. ND by at least 14.
  12. Clock officials have always been terrible at Meigs and more often than not it ends up hurtin the Tigers. You cant put that series all on the refs though. If ND had been movin the ball I would understand but in that 90 seconds they gained maybe 20 yards.
  13. But look who they've lost too. Hixson, Baylor, Polk, and Howard. This will be a good game.
  14. Same here. They are on a kind of roll. Hope they can keep it up.
  15. ER wont win it but they still have a shot at the playoffs. Some things have to start going there way though.
  16. Not as much as I am insinuating that its always tough to go on the road into the valley and win, be it officiating or the fact the teams play harder at home.
  17. You have both Meigs and ER winning next weeks game. Tie perhaps?
  18. Over the summer Mobriant got up close to 260 and still moved pretty well. Obviously he had very little trouble shedding that weight in conditioning, now I think he's down around 230 or so. If your looking for a good game in Decatur come back in week 7 when Polk and Meigs play, it should be the game to decide the region champion. And the quality young men statement speaks volumes to the Meigs County coaching staff, teachers, and administration. They do a great job.
  19. A lot of good points. I think Charlie would make a great addition to a team because the way he's framed they can mold him into what they want. Too slow? Throw 40 lbs on him and put him at end. See what I mean? You do this for a living so I'm sure you know wht your talkin about. The thing with Maddron is speed. He's got good hands, runs good routes, coachable, but in my opinion he's slow and would get just flat out covered up in the next level. Once again, stick him with a college speed coach and see what might happen. Rayle has a good future ahead of him if he plays it right. He'll probably top out at 6'4" 200lbs before he graduates. Also, excellent speed for a freshman.
  20. I like this score. Louden plays good enough D to contain them to under 30 pts. This isnt the same Loudon that went 0-10 2 years ago.
  21. Polk by 10-14, it stays close because they play at Grundy.
  22. Sorry, didnt mean for it to sound like that just didnt want people getting them confused. Both the recievers are good. Athleticly, Meadows is probably the hands down better player but Maddron plays hard and is pretty good in the clutch (the two catches at McMinn Central). Both fit in to the system and play their roles. Dont forget that the Tigers have two pretty good un-sung players at tight end, Phillips and Moore. Moore doesnt play as much offense to keep him fresh on D but both players block well and have pretty good hands. Dont overpraise Meigs though, ND didnt play very well in the second half, Meigs still had some turnovers and penalties they can work on and some blown blocking assignments. Meigs really needs to focus week to week because its not going to get any easier, they've already played McMinn Central.
  23. The tigers are undefeated and have set their eyes on a possible region title. East Ridge is having trouble, still looking for their first win. Dont count East Ridge out just yet, Coach James is a good coach and will surely have his boys fired up. ER has a great QB in Bradford Turner. Can Meigs avoid the let down? Whats your take?
  24. You got the Mobriants mixed up. Tyler is th RB and Charlie is the MLB
