LAWRENCE COUNTY has decided to move this game time ahead from 7:00 to 6:00. So the tip off will be a 6:00 instead of 7:00. why??? I have no idea, makes no sense!

Lincoln County and Lawrence County are maybe the two most inconsistent teams in 8AAA this year and they play each other first round! Should be good one. C-YA monday at 7:00!!!

Columbia @ Lincoln County moved to Monday @ 6:30! does this give either team an advantage? Also, on the standings, IF and I MEAN a BIG IF, Lincoln County upsets Columbia monday night, Lincoln County will win the Tie breaker over Lawrence County for fourth. The coin toss is the last straw but, Lincoln County has a win over Shelbyville and If Columbia loses then Shelbyville will win the district and Lincoln County will have a win over the #1 team which will break the tie between Lawrence County and Lincoln County before it even gets to a coin toss! Lincoln County wins, they host, Lincoln County loses, they go on the road. The games are set as far as I'm concerned. This team has gone through some adversity this year that is not known to the genral public! I am very close to the team and I know some of the details. After the loss to Marshall County, everything came to a head. The quote "Good things come from bad things" applies here!!!!!! Practices on Wednesday and Thursday were the kind in which a team digs down low and finds some rededication! WELL, I think we saw the results against Coffee Co. I will be honest with you, that team on Friday night looked like the Lady Falcon team from last year. Let's just see if they can continue to play that way down the stretch!

If the Lady Falcons play their game, LC wins by 6, If the Lady Falcons struggle shooting the basketball as they have in past games, SCHS by 20! IT is just that simple. Lady Falcons do get fired up for those Eaglettes though! I guess they can remember the days of the Eaglettes being up by 50 and still pressing in the 4th quarter! GET FIRED UP LADY FALCONS AND MAKE IT 5 IN A ROW!!! History question, What is the longest winning streak against the Eaglettes? Right now the Lady Falcons have won 4 in row, anyone else know of a longer streak? GO LADY FALCONS!!!!!

yeah, columbia played really well last night! their defense is smothering. GIVE ke ke bean for LC some credit because she held ross to 4 points and only one basket from the field, heck i think she only shot 3 times. Owens killed LC , 20 rebounds and 16 points. it was another game where LC did not play well. I have seen them play to their potential twice this year. the first 3 quarters against shelbyville and the first half agaisnt moore county earlier in the season. if they can find that abilbity come tourney time well then ........ that is all im going to say!

just an estimate, im not a math major nor will i spend all afternoon making sure the records work out. i will leave that to you! the rankings were the major thing! banjor columbia still has to play Lincoln County twice, shelbyville and I think Lawrence County one more time and you dont think they will lose two more????

WOW, What can I say but this year has been wild in 8AAA!!! Lady Falcons are only team able to beat those eaglettes and then lose to Franklin County in a no call slugfest. Man, Muckle ball has some luck to go with it huh, two wins on buzzer beaters (half court against Lincoln County and put back against Franklin County). How did they beat Columbia? To many surprises for me to even make any predicitons. ANY TEAM CAN WIN ON ANY GIVEN NIGHT!! Also, give some credit to Coach Kaite Galloway against Tullahoma, they havent won a game but have improved a lot. She coaches with a alot of enthusiasm. I think right now Shelbyville has the inside shot to win the season title but this 8AAA tourney is going to be a good one! I think any of the top 5 teams could win it if they catch fire at the right time! My final season predicitons look like this: 1. Shelbyville 10-2 2. Lincoln County 9-3 3. Lawrence County 8-4 4. Columbia 8-4 5. Franklin County 7-5 6. Coffee County 5-7 7. Tullahoma 1-11

last year the lady falcons defeated the golden eaglettes 3times but have struggled at times this year. shelbyville is unbeaten in district play and their out of district losses have come at the hands of the best teams in the state. Shelbyville @ LC should be another battle. LC played much better and defeated the #1 team in the state of Alabama (5A) Johnson Lady Jaguars by two points on 1/3/06. No doubt when you look at the matchups, I think shelbyville wins the post play but LCs guards are better. This was the difference last year because LCs guards were able to put enough pressure on SCHS's guards that the inside game was not a factor. Armstrong had her way with the post play last year against LC when she suited up for Columbia. Many people may look at the records and think this may be a blowout but I think it will a very close nip and tuck game. In the end I think Shelbyville will be to much for the LC LADY FALCONS to handle and the Golden Eaglettes win by 5 as they make their free throws down the stretch!!! SCHS 56 LCHS 51 ARMSTRONG SCORES 30 and is the difference.

Congrats to Coach Chad Tipps and the Lincoln County Falcons for winning the Smyrna Bulldogs XMAS Tourney!! Coach Tipps is an excellent coach and the LC Falcons are only going to get better!!!
