Here's a reason they load up the bracket...The T.$.$.A.A. want an east/middle vs. west matchup. More money period. If they divided them up fairly, they would have a west vs. west finals. Outside of Grace (& they couldn't win it), in Single A, the top 6 teams from the West could have won it. It's a fact that no one wants to admit, but still a fact.

I think I deserve the free subscription, because I am a "BUM". But, I am a bum who likes to interact with other sports loving fans and I don't have a credit card to put my coacht plus subscription on. Help me out...thanks!!

Why is the west so dominant? Year in and year out, with the exception of Bolivar the last few years, different teams come from the West and usually win it all. It seems every year, the same teams from the East get in and fall short. Is it their style of play or do the west teams have just better athletes and coaching? This post isn't meant to slam anyone, just a discussion topic.

Am I sensing some kind of bitter rivalry between Temple and Grace on here??? Even though this topic heading is completely wrong, congrats to Grace & Temple on good seasons. We'll (the West) will meet one of you guys again next year. Next season began yesterday, we'll try to be ready for you.

Cloudland did deserve to be there. They won win they had too. It will always be a story book season when they look back. Good job Cloudland!

Upset??? Now that is funny. If you were familiar with the teams that Humboldt plays, then upset would be far from your vocabulary. I think Cosby has to be a very good team, based upon their record, but that is like comparing apples to oranges...different teams in the West.

Predictions: Middleton-93, Unino City-88 Cisco gets a technical. Weddle has around 40. Union City cries over the officiating after the game. Just my prediction.

Westview...over rated as usual. Got outplayed from every position on the floor to the coach as well..maybe next year, they can be number 1 again for a while.

A little correction to an earlier post. Greenfield didn't win the region championship in '85. They went to state but had to go on the road to get there through substate. Their last region championship, I believe, was in 1979? or some where around there. Lake County has a very good team, but seemed like they forgot about Clay in the 4th quarter. I will have to say that both sets of fans were very vocal and animated. I thought it was pretty comical when the Greenfield fans started chanting "union city" towards the Lake County fans, I guess they were referring to the boys contest last night.
