According to Coach Mac, Mann is an exceptional bad weather runner because of his balance. He told me that he has seen him make unbelievable cuts when the groud was slick. The defensers had an awful time trying to tackle him. As far as the number of yards compared to touchdowns, tht is simple. Northside has had a tough time scoring once they get inside the thirty because of turnovers and penalties all year. They have also dropped multiple touchdown passes in the endzone this year. For exaple last week against Camden Northside scored on a 50 yard screen pass to Mann that was called back for a stupid block in the back 15 yards behind the play. They did not score that posession. The next time they had it on the 15 and threw a interception on the 9 yard line on first down. This is the way it has gone all year long. Turnovers and penalties inside their opponents 20. Northside will move the ball. Mann will get his yards. Hopefully they will get in the endzone.

I dont know where you guys get that our D-Line is big. They are fast. All of them run 4.8's or better, but they are not big. Three of them weigh right at 210 and the weak end weighs 185. They are all about 5'9 or 5'10. They can fly and are very quick.

The Indians have thrown for about 600 yards on the season with 8 touchdowns. Davis has a cannon for an arm, but the receivers have had trouble catching the ball. They have dropped a lot of passes including 4 or 5 touchdowns. But they average about 85 yards a game in the air and a touchdown a game.

I know you have not seen Mann run on a regular basis, but yes he is better than all of those players mentioned. Just promise me this, when he does go for about 250 yards against Camden, please dont come back and tell me how bad Camden played or it would of been different if whoever would have played. Just come on here and say that Mann is the best back you have ever seen and leave it at that. I promise you if you hold him under 150 yards I will say the same thing about Camden's defense. The fact is each week Northside faces a different opponent and each week they all say the same thing, We Have To Stop The Mann Kid. It hasnt happened. The least amount of yards he has gained is 175 yards and he did not play in the fourth quarter of that game due to injury. He is one of the best backs I have ever seen and I have seen plenty of great backs. Ill tell you this too most teams make the mistake of trying to load the box up against him and put 8 or 9 in there. Thats a mistake because most of the time he just needs to make one guy miss and then hes gone. If I were coaching against him I would definately play with two deep safeties to try and coral him when he does break it. But what do I know I am just a fan.

Yanker how do you feel about your matchup this weekend?

I believe the Mann kid had about 180 yards against Dyersburg. I know that the offensive yardage was basically the same between North Side and Dyersburg. THe difference was North Side turned the ball over three or four times inside Dyersburgs twenty. Three of which were horrible decisions by North Side QB. North Side has killed themselves all year. Dyersburg is good but not unbeatable. And I can tell you who will beat them if you would like to know.

Well according to COACHT, North Side's schedule strength is 2nd in the state. Brighton's is ranked 59th.

I would have to disagree with Brighton's running back being the best running back in west TN. He is good, but most of those yards he has gotten has come against patsy teams. Even Munfords defense is suspect. The Mann kid from North Side has over 1200 yards and he has faced a quality opponent every week. North Sides' opponents combined record is 27-10. No team that North Side has played has a losing record. I would take Mann over Williams and I have seen both of them twice. Against Munford, Mann rushed for over 200 yards and North Side had three starteers on the offensive line out. Against Brighton, Mann had around 265 yards. Against Hardin County he was held to 175 yards but only had one carry in the 4th quarter due to injury.

What kind of defense is that? I am sure they have seen all kinds of different defenses trying to stop the Mann kid.

North Side dominated Southside on offense and Defense. Southside scored on two kickoff returns and a interception for a TD on what looked to be a botched play. James and Newburn had a total of 21 Yards combined for Southside. For Northside, Mann ran up and down the field all night. He rushed for well over 200 hundred yards. Brandon Davis had a big night throwing the ball as well. I said it last week if North Side would ever cut down the penalties and turnovers they would be tough to beat. They still turned the ball over 4 times but not as many penalties. The difference in the score should have been much worse.

Mann runs up and down the field and they screw it up when they get inside the 20 with penalties, turnovers and a bunch of dropped passes. They were without three starting offensive lineman against Munford. Still managed to move the ball but choked in Munford territory 3 times. Should make for an interesting finish to the season.

What scrimmage did you watch? Milan didnt score on them. Arlington didnt score on them. And Arlington just beat Germantown. Matter of fact North Side destroyed Arlington. The Mann kid had like 250 yards on 8 carries and 4 TDs.

Anyone have any thoughts as to how this one might turn out? Who should people being watching for?
