Jed defeated him previously 10-4 & 14-2. Hussein was on the march again (4-0) when he lifted Ulric up in double-underhooks and got caught in a headlock which he fought for over a minute before the fall. Also, Winesburgh didn't have to even wrestle a semi-finals match b/c of injury default. Giving him the OW is just not right...
Hussein has been tearing people apart, and i think he and Robby could go at it with Hussein on top. I heard he was a Jr. UFC champion in whatever country he came from, hes very intense!
I agree with Manson being the best wreslter in the state, no doubt, but its guys like that that will help lead Hussein to a State Championship. What he lacks in experience he makes up in speed, strength, and athletic abilty, and i think he'll give Young a run for his money.
Jed Hussein had never wrestled before his sophmore year at Baylor. He came to Baylor not knowing anything about wrestling, but coach Morgan saw potential and worked with him. Plus with guys like Manson, Johnson, and Wadell in there he was bound to improve. I've never seen any come as far as he has in only a year and a half of Baylor Wreslting.
