When ya gonna get a coach over there? I heard talk old Coach Reid from Alcoa might be coming back from Jawja to coach over there at the Ridge. Any truth to that. Guess he's been winning games down there the past few years. Good luck in your search.

Looks like everything I said about PF last winter when they got rid of the "politically incorrect" coach they had -who was doing a good job, by the way-has come to pass. PF will never have a winning football team. Politics do not belong in high school football. You keep trying to do what the "big dogs" want, having a coach who lets them call the shots when they look out for themselfs and not the boys,and you get a 0-10 season.Nothing against the new guy,but PF lost the best coach they could have got.And the rest of the county thanks you for it.PF will never be a threat to G-P, Seymour, Sevier Co.,or even King's Academy.Good job for whoever made the decision last winter.Just feel sorry for the boys-and thats who its supposed to be for. Anybody know how coach Ryan is doing or where he is at??

Ive been reading the posts and thought I would just do that and not respond but BigBear has echoed my thoughts. I do hope the new coach is successful. I do hope the boys do good. I do know alot of them are not happy and a few have left. Orangepigskin has got to be one of the young coaches on staff because he talks about personnel---thats a coaches term. Like the other poster says, disrespect from people you are working with confuses some kids. Maybe orange will stay happy, but the way they do things in the Forge, who knows, he may be the next one gone. Ill just sit back and see what there saying in the Fall. And, talking about any HC is a very immature thing to do if that is your profession. My question is where were you 4 years ago--you keep talking about the lack of leadership, you must not have been here before Coach Ryan. And I have no doubt he'll be fine--just watch and see. I hate PF had to lose him.

Hired some coach from a Memphis private school. Announced Monday. Looks like he's been at 3 or 4 schools in the past few years and he's only 38 years old. Im sure qualified people stayed away. Some of the boys have already left. If you want to be an athlete in sevier co., stay away from PF. AD is a baseball guy--dont want anyone there thatll make a good football team. Heaven help PF.

PF just got rid of the best coach they could have. It is not a good position for anybody who cares about the players more than the "influential" parents. The coach played boys based on their ability, not on who their daddy is and it cost him. you mite have a handful of players who'll be happy--cause daddy fixed things and they mite play more, but from what I hear, a bunch are mad and will leave if they want to play football again. Not a bunch of athletes and coach Ryan was a daddy to a bunch of em. Let's face it, I love Sevier County but we dont have athletes like Blount. I say good luck to coach Ryan. he had more support than most realize, we just aint got the bucks. if I was a coach, I'd stay away.
