THE SULLIVAN CENTRAL COUGARS GOT A HUGE WIN LAST NIGHT AGAINST DANIEL BOONE. MOODY LOOKED LIKE MORE THAN A FRESHMAN LAST NIGHT. WHY DIDN'T KILGORE PLAY FOR BOONE? THIS WIN GETS THE COUGARS INTO THE DISTRICT TOURNAMENT WITHOUR PLAYING IN THE PLAY IN GAME. THAT NOW LOOKS LIKE VOLUNTEER AND SULLIVAN SOUTH. ANY IDEAS ON WHO GOES TO THE REGIONALS?

How does the Cougars stack up in the conference? Any guess as to who they will play in the District Tournament? That is a big win for their program.

Congrats to the Toppers Think the Vikings are ready to fold up their tents and go home? They are still a good team but it appears that the Toppers have now earned respect all through the conference. They now have their sights sent on a District Crown. Beware Lady Vikings there could be a new Queen in town.

I agree that Boone was lackluster on offense and poor, poor defense. It seems quite obvious that there is more going on there than on the floor. Science Hill is now in 2nd. They host Tennessee High Tuesday night. THS got a big game from Reed Friday night at Dobyns Bennett to clinch at least a tie for 1st. If The Hill can stop Reed and Faidley then they may have a chance at pulling the upset. It is a known fact that the THS bench seems to panic in close games.

Another big night in the Big 9. I get to make the trip to Science Hill tonight. The Hill vs Boone. This one could decide 2nd place. I guess bucdaddio will be there. Guys update the area games if you can. Good luck tonight.

THS looked good last night all of the girls played. Faidley and the freshman guard really stood out. The thing is all of their seniors could carry this team on a given night. They played better team ball than they did at VA High. It appears the 2 young players are catching on. Daniel Boone had a big win over Crockett. Who played well? Also Sceince Hill has slipped into a tie win Boone in the loss column. They could be tough come tournament time.

I will get my second chance to watch the THS girls to night against Volunteer. Another big games tonight are Crockett vs Daniel Boone and Sullivan South vs Sceince Hill. Please update with details.

I was able to watch THS for the first time last night and you are right their guard was not even dressed. Anyone know what's up with that? I thought they played good team ball. If I recall the seniors have played together for a while now. 15 - had some big plays inside and played solid, 23 and 25 have carried this group of girls for years, and 11 made some key free throws down the stretch. Good group of seniors and fun to watch. However, the little freshman seems to help quite a bit. Good luck with the rest of the season.

I think the state tournament should be centralized. Nashville or Chattanooga would be good. The shot clock would be good but should be used year round and not just in the tournament.

I think ankle braces can help prevent ankle injuries. However, it is probably not a good idea to get to dependent on them.
