Both teams are pretty darn good. Look at all the Div 1 and 2 talent coming from just these 10 or so guys. Can anyone even get in Brentwood. Acad's way on the way to a title? I'd pay to see BA and Bolivar. That's another high powerewd match up.

There's no way of saying this without someone taking offense, but I don't mean any.... Mobry, maybe you shoulda watched Joei more....he's a great kid with lots of heart and a true leader...but the best QB Alcoa hjas was on the sidelines most of the time. Wow...opened this figuring to see vitavol/hoof/pinkspandexboy ranting about how Tyler is unworthy. Glad to see that's not the case. I too am proud of tyler...as I have been of all the seniors from blount county who have found their way into the next level this off season. Wasn't Fulmer (Caldwell)...but it did happen....congrats Tyler!!

Swagger, I saw him play the best defense in the state in 4A and he gained 100 yards...pretty impressive. He's quick, elusive, not very big, but tough. Has good hands. Can catch and run both. Really good center of gravity

Kinda saw it coming. Larry tried to do this at the beginning of the year...still don't believe his reasons for doing so though. Bearden is also looking for a coach. Any word on who might replace these two...I know of one at Powell that stands a good chance. Anyone care to start the yearly Darryl Smith rumor?
